HEY ALL!!      "    If you 're baby treats you wrong, don't run around being blue, remember my friend, everyone can't win, 'cuz you know sometime, sometime you got to lose    "        WOW It's a HOT one today!! Went out and got all the boxes off the floor of the shed and put up on shelves, then took some time and lined up the mower and the ramps to get in the shed. Made paint marks on the floor of the shed where the ramps go, and then marked on the ground where I need to put the blocks for the ramps to sit on. The door to the shed is 48" wide, the mower deck is 46" wide with the grass guard pulled up!! It's like 50" with the grass guard down. So I have to make sure I am RIGHT ON each time I pull into the shed. Did a couple of other little things too, but just got TOO HOT for me to stay out there. Even went and sat down on the front porch with the water fall going in the shade, and it was too warm to stay out there for very long. And, the weather man says it will be warmer the next 3 or 4 days. Well I got to get a couple of yard things done, so I will just do a little each day till finished. I guess it's time to put out the sprinklers too?!?! Been a relaxing week, I got my first ' book ' on my Kindle and have been reading it a little. Am starting to learn more and more on how to use the Kindle, I think it will be very cool once I get all learn-ed on it. Well no contact about COBRA this week. I guess I start stirring the pot and see what floats to the top next week. Did get paperwork signed and back for the modification. So that is done, for now. I really thought I had rattled enough sabers to get the COBRA done, but NOOOOO. Time to rattle some more. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!!        "    I saw her today at the reception, in her glass was a bleeding man, she was practiced at the art of deception, well, I could tell by her blood-stained hands    "     Well another trip to the store today, WOW It still just kicks my ass. But, home and food all put away and then relax. A little baseball, a little nap, then dinner. Just chilled today, my shoulder Is really bugging me today, again. Getting the Heating/Air Conditioning looked at tomorrow. Make sure it will last through another year. Trying to learn my KINDLE, it is pretty cool. I will use it to read books, it seems like reading has become a challenge lately. I have a fairly small window of interest, but the windows are DEEP. Got the Mortgage Modification paperwork done signed and back in the mail today too. That is DONE!! I have decided to take a week ' off ' from the COBRA hassle. For my own piece of mind, and their's too!! CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!!      "    Yeah when you call my name, I salivate like a Pavlov dog, yeah when you lay me out, my heart is beating louder than a big bass drum, alright    "          How goes today? For me, just laying low and quiet. My shoulder is not hurting any where near what it has been the last three days. So I thought just cool it today and let the shoulder get better. It's my right shoulder and I can not get any kind of break to my curve ball like I used to, AND my fast ball has lost several MPH!!?? ha ha ha Also just taking a mental day off, no phone calls blasting people or anything, I think I will let things rest for a week and see what happens. eBay has been slow as well, and probably will stay that way until after the fourth. Had a relaxing day yesterday, with my shoulder hurting as it did not much else I could have done. Works out well as the rain is off and on the next couple of days. Hope to get the ramps set up for the shed this week and get to the dump with stuff too. Maybe even get several other items handled, WOW, could be an all star week. CHOW MOI

HI ALL!!        "    When you were a child, you were treated kind, but you were never brought up right, you were always spoiled with a thousand toys, but still you cried all night, your mother who neglected you, owes a million dollars tax, and your father's still perfecting ways of making sealing wax    "       OK, OK, OK I know I have gotten way out of line on doing my posts. Sorry, it just seams the day I am going to do a post, I become VERY busy. Yesterday was no different. Up and out early, started working on getting the garage cleaned out. Sears had an appointment to fix the mower between 1pm and 5pm. So I was out in the garage staying busy and waiting for Sears. Had lunch and then back out in the garage. BUT, managed to get all the stuff up and off the floor and swept!! Then re-arranged some boxes I need to go through and decide what I keep and what goes to the garbage. But did get the truck in the garage!! Now there are several boxes on the floor of the shed that need to be put away, but there is actually a car back in the garage. AND, YES Sears did show up and fix the mower!!  I need to get the shed ramps put in, and get some sprinklers set up, but making great progress!! Do have a couple of things in the back of the truck that need to go to the dump, and will add to that total this week. There is SO much room now that the shelves are gone and stuff is in the shed!! HOWEVER, I am paying for it today. I am SO sore, shoulder, rid cage, lower back, upper legs, on and on... So I am laying close to the dish today, and having some home made cookies!! CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!!          "    When I come home baby, and I've been working all night long, I put my daughter on my knee and she say, ' Daddy what's wrong? ', I put my head on her shoulder, she whispers in my ear so sweet    "        Would have been Daddy's 83rd birthday today. Happy Birthday Dad! There rarely is a day that I don't make some kind of decision that I can trace back to something my Father taught me. Thank You Dad! Got to spend the last two days cleaning up the garage and yard. Got more stuff into the shed. Managed to put up a metal shelf that Mom will use to store her gardening things on, instead of a couple of wooden ones. And got up a metal wall shelf for me to put miscellaneous on. I think I am down to about 3 or 4 trips more. Then a good sweeping and the garage will be ready for the cars again. Got my Fathers Day gift today. Very Cool, I look forward to getting it up and going and reading some books. Friday will be a laid back and quiet day. I am sure I will be very sore and will need to spend some time on some a couple of task to get resolved. There may be a thing or two I want to buy form my gift as well. Hope to get the Mower fixed Saturday, it seems the yard needs another mow already!?!? CHOW MOI

HI ALL!!       "    I can turn your grey sky blue, I could make it rain whenever I wanted to, I can build a castle from a single grain of sand, I can make a ship sail on dry land, but my life is incomplete and I'm so blue    "            How goes it today? Got a chance Monday to mow the yard, AND use my new yard toy. The hedge trimmer!! I got a trimmer so I could cut all the branches and sticker bushes that poke at me when I am mowing around the very outside of the yard. Keep a nice trim on all the wild and loose stuff. AND IT WORKS GREAT!! Oh yea!! I can trim all the stuff back and be able to mow right to the edge with out dodging stickers!! Got all that done and then went back to finish mowing, I had about 2 passes left to do. Well Sears will be here Saturday to fix the mower. As I was cutting the grass, the blades just quit cutting. The tractor runs and all, but the mower blades do not turn. It looks like the drive belt came off or broke. SO Sears will be out Saturday and fix it. AND WOW did I ever OVER do it on yard work Monday. WOW I was totally wiped out. Managed to get all the stuff picked up and put away, then in for a shower, and to the most comfortable chair in the house. And, that's where I stayed the rest of the day/evening. Tuesday was a 'close to the dish' day as well. I did make a call and e-mail on my COBRA problem. It boils down to this; FFC [my ex-employer] says in an e-mail that they have communicated with and have sent a check to CONEXIS [the guys who FFC hired to collect the COBRA premium] and they are done dealing with me. CONEXIS says they have YET to hear from FFC and there is NO money in the account. There are account managers from CONEXIS involved, there is an insurance broker for FFC involved, it is quite the mess. I did send a reply to FFC e-mail and told them I would contact who I needed to until I get my refund. My plan is this, I also called the D.O.L. guy who oversees COBRA and told him to reopen my case that I was still having problems. And I have the e-mail address for the President of FFC. The guy in human resources I am dealing with I found out is a director of the company, so his only boss will be the President. I also managed to get the HR guy's assistants name and number and she promised she would work on it and call me Friday. So come Friday if there is no communication, and there is no money in the account, then I will press HARD of the D.O.L., AND I will send the nastiest e-mail to the President of FFC telling him the kind of jeopardy the HR guy is putting the company in. I am done dancing with ALL of these losers. CHOW MOI!!

How goes it? Yea I know what your thinking. Where did he go? Hey I had life things to do and didn't get to blog for a day or two. You know! Friday was spent taking mom to doctors appointment and then some errands. By the time I got home all I wanted to do was find the most comfortable chair in the house and SIT!! SO I did, the rest of the night. Saturday my daughters showed up. It was different this time. They showed up at different times, about 5 hours apart. And then when they left Sunday, same thing. So I got to spend together time and separate time with each of them. It dawned on me that it had been a long time since I spent several hours alone with just ONE of them. It was great to connect that way. Then you wake up to MONDAY!! And all the realities of life return. OH well. I think I will mow the yard today before the rain comes. I still have some phone calls and e-mails to send. But, I will wait another day and see if they respond to me first. I feel like I am SO close to getting this COBRA mess cleared up, but it just won't end. AND still I wait on Chase Mortgage to ' FIGURE STUFF OUT ". WOW!! Hopefully this week will be nice enough in the weather to finish getting the garage cleaned up. I am so very close to that as well. OR I may spend the days on the front porch watching the animals and listening to the water fall?? CHOW MOI!!

Got out and managed some yard clean up and re-arranging. Took another load of things to the shed and got just a little more done. Not a lot of time outside. Tomorrow will be a TV day, It's the first round of the US Open and I will watch A LOT of it!! Then Friday will be another TV day, Round 2!! Use to be that my daughters best gift to me was to leave me alone for the four rounds of the US Open, then they would call later Sunday Night. I use to joke about it, but it was a GREAT jester by them. BUT, NOW, OH NO, I want them SITTING WITH ME WHILE WE WATCH THE US OPEN!!!! And have some Honey Bourbon!! OHYEA!! Still waiting to hear about Chase Mortgage and what they will do. AND still waiting to hear from CONEXIS or FFC about my COBRA refund. Then will need to sit down and have a serious conversation with someone about my other options. But will just relax this weekend and enjoy th gold. CHOW MOI

HEY ALL!!    "    I was a pitcher down in a slump, I was a fighter taken for a sucker punch, feeling bad I guess I lost my spring, I was a boxer who can't get in the ring    "  Well how goes it today? I was able to get the Fence AND the Shed ALL finished painting over the weekend!! WHOO HOO!!!!  WOW and it looks GREAT!! Finally, now just gotta clean up the paint mess. Was even able to get the shed ramps finished, they look pretty cool. But, WOW let me tell you, my LEGS are like warm butter!! Just no strength left in them. Went out today and started getting more things in the shed. Made two trips with stuff, on the wagon on the back of the riding mower [ how smart ] and that was it, I was totally with no strength!! So I will rest and lay low the rest of the day. And just maybe the same tomorrow. There are a couple of clean up things I want to do in the yard, move a couple of planters and shepherd's hook for mom. Then just work on getting the garage cleaned out and room for the cars again. I am really impressed with how good the fence and shed look. Everyone that helped did a GREAT job!! Thanks to all of you!! Also this week need to get paperwork done early so I can spend Thursday AND Friday AND Saturday AND Sunday watching the US Open!! It's that ' thing ' I do every year. So it may be a short week one way or the other. COOL, I can use the break?!?! CHOW MOI

The day just got away from me. It started with my eBay auction items ending, over 300 of them. I did sell about 15 items in the last hour however!! Then re-listed them all again. And then out and ran some errands, got my very first pedicure yesterday, not too bad. I can see where someone would like that done every month or so. Also got over to talk to the butcher about meat for my SOIREE in August. I am all set!! It will be brisket, and some brauts!! Even got by my sister's place and dropped off her birthday card and visited for awhile. I truly earned brownie points for that!! That seemed to take the whole day to do and then home for dinner and a movie. And before I knew it I was sleepy and headed to bed. It seems like I am going to bed earlier and then getting up earlier also. I am not sure why, just one of those ' changes ' things. Got a big week ahead, trying to figure out about a reverse mortgage and then still waiting for the mortgage company to get new paperwork to me for the modification. And if luck holds, maybe, just maybe I will hear something about my COBRA refund. According to my ex-employer, they are sending a check to the other guys TODAY!! I told him I was glad I didn't work in the accounting department and have to work on Sundays. I think he used a wrong date, but I never give up the pressure on him. It is funny at times. Well hope to get the painting ALL done today on the shed and the fence. The shed just needs about 3 minutes of touch up. The fence needs a 2nd coat and the trim work done. CHOW MOI

Still rebounding from yesterday's grocery visit. Did get a chance to ' correct ' another eBayer, who really is messed up. He has a COMMON baseball card, about a 20 cent value for sale as ' RARE ' for $3.99. So thinking I had missed something, I e-mailed him and asked what made it ' rare '? Well the response I got said it all; " OLD & MINT ". WHAT?? I got 15,000 ' old & mint ' cards. So I e-mailed him and questioned it. Well of course I did not leave the scab alone, I just kept picking and picking every time he would respond. Finally he started threatening me, calling me a few moderate names. So I reminded him, that he claimed it was ' rare ' and that I hoped he was not trying to intimidate or bully me. Well it's been 4 hours and he has YET to respond to that. FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY!!!! He did try to attach my listings, but I quickly stopped that too. I had lots of fun with it, him NOT SO MUCH. No word from the new mortgage company out of Denver, so I guess the deal is dead. Just as well, my feelings were my mortgage officer was overwhelmed. Not much else happening, my one fantasy baseball team Is doing better and starting to climb up the standings. But they have down this before only to fall back. I did get a positive e-mail about my COBRA insurance refund. Funny thing was he used the date of June 9th, which is a Sunday. He said that the accounting department was going to send a check to CONEXIS of the 9th. I told him the 9th was PERFECT, and was glad I did not work in the accounting department. I would NOT like to have to work on Sunday's. CHOW MOI

HI ALL!!      "    A glimpse of you was all it took, a stranger's glance it got me hooked, and I followed you across the stars, I looked for you in seedy bars    "           Well a late one tonight. Been a FULL day, had to take the Rogue in for it's regular servicing. And, for some reason that just seems to wipe me out. I spend about 90 minutes or so sitting in the dealership, watching TV and drinking coffee. Then a quick trip to Sears to pick up a hedge trimmer so I can control the wild growth around here and make it easier for me when I mow the yard. I won't have to ' dodge ' so many limbs and stuff sticking out at me. Might not get so stuck by the berry bushes and their long vines. Back into town and brought mom home. Watched the baseball game and relaxed. But, was REALLY sore and just no strength in my legs. I did spend yesterday painting the ramps for the shed. And I was up and bending quite a bit to get that done. SO maybe it's just a second day carry over from that. So we will see tomorrow. Which will not be easy, I think there's a trip to the store, need food in the house. Still waiting to hear back from the new mortgage company in Denver. I left it in their hands on ideas to over come the piss poor appraisal. I have not heard a word, which tells me my loan officer has no idea about appraisals and how to handle them. He has probably moved on to other clients and will just let us go, now that we are not going to make him any money. I thought as much! Now I will have to figure out another way to make this all work. It's been over a year and a half from my disability and I am still trying to make adjustments and figure out how to make it day to day. It has come down to the house and credit card payments. And now I am given a real challenge that the house is worth $30,000 to $50,000 less than what we bought it for. CHOW MOI

Well to those that are wondering, I try and post on EVEN days. So it has been three days since my last. I got a response to the appraisal complaint. And it was just a BIG CYA [Cover Your Ass] response. The appraiser said you could not use homes that sold under an arranged sale, could not use homes on the golf course, could not use homes with waterfront as comp's. Well let's see, their comp #1 was s SHOT SALE {that's an ARRANGED sale between home owner, bank and new buyer}. comp #2 was ON THE GOLF COURSE, and comp #3 was WATER FRONT!! Get the fuck out!! That is an appraiser who has been called out and is trying to protect his job. LOSER!! Now not sure what I am going to do. I know that I can not keep up with everything as is, and I am running out of cash fast! Odd how that works. Maybe one or two other options, but not many. AND STILL waiting for FFC and CONEXIS to wake the fuck up and stop jerking me on my COBRA refund. THAT is getting VERY OLD!!  Am selling on eBay, of course it was and odd numbered month, now let's see what happens in June. AND, my fantasy golf and baseball teams are generally getting thumped!! Have been outside the last several days, trying to get yard mowed and start on some other projects and STILL need to finish up the painting. Hopefully will get that done this week. And start getting ready for the SUMMER SOIREE!! I am not really feeling 100% today, and got lots floating around in my head. CHOW MOI
