HI ALL!! Microsoft on the phone to fix your computer. It's a SCAM

    "    She got a mind of her own, and she use it well, mighty fine she's one of a kind, on the seventh day my eyes were all a glaze, we've been ten thousand miles, been in fifteen states, every woman seemed to fade out of my mine, I hit the bottle and hit the sack and cried, what's all this laughter on the 22nd floor, it's just some friends of mine, and their busting down the door, been a lonely night at the ....    "    Well I am sure you have ALL gotten the call. It's a weird number and there this guy on the other end with a HEAVY India accent. He's telling you that Microsoft has been receiving information that your computer is INFECTED!! And he is calling to help you resolve the problem. He gives you some instructions to go to your computer and do some key strokes. At this point I tell him that a message JUST popped up on the screen. " What's it say?" he asks. And then I SCREAM into the phone " FUCK YOU AND DON"T CALL HERE AGAIN!!!!" And hang up. I have had one person call me back, about five minutes later, and I just screamed at him again. Today I did some web surfing and found a guy who took the call all the way to the end. They end up down loading a remote operation program and then take you to Paypal. They tell you it will be $159.00 a year, or $499.00 for life time coverage. This guy told him to Fuck Off. The caller then went into the computer and deleted files, pictures, documents, etc. Then deleted the program that allowed him to get online. No problem for this guy, he was a computer wiz, and in fact had allowed the caller into a secondary computer and really lost no files, they were all fakes any way. Just very bizarre, I just don't let it go that far. It DOES make for great entertainment however! Not much else going this week, another trip to the Chiro, and I should mow the yard SOON. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Cash, Grass or Ass .. No one rides for FREE

Use to see that on A LOT of dashboards back in the day.  How funny, and how true!! In a survey I did back then, it was about equal between the three options, really. It was not any kind of formal survey. I would just ask the car owner when ever I got into a car and it was there. Some may have told the truth, some maybe not. Well got out in the garage yesterday and was able to do some more arranging, got some tools hung and some stuff put in place. You would think by now it must be cleaned?! Well very close, I have to figure out how I want to store all the nuts, bolts and screws I got. I am not big on the plastic hanging drawer file, and not really big on the hanging bins. I think I will build a couple of skinny shelves and then put the parts in some of those plastic food containers. I did that with nails and big screws in one of the drawers in my work bench and I kinda like it. Still searching however. Ebay continues to be non-existent!! My fantasy baseball teams are doing ok. I am 1st, 3rd, 6th and 7th. With some positive moves the last two days!! I still have a stiff shoulder/neck and still going to the chiropractor. It seems to be getting better, BUT VERY SLOWLY!!  Really looking forward to some nice weather and a chance to get out in the yard and start doing some stuff to get it looking nice for the summer.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Did the Easter Bunny get away?

I always remember an Easter back in the day. Two of my buddies and I were out driving on the East Hill of Kent. Crusin' along listening to music in my friends '67 Mustang and BOOM, out jumps this rabbit right into the front right headlight of the car. No chance. So we pull over down the road and there is bunny hair all over the front of the car. I told him he would be cursed from then on for Easter's to come. Anyway, I got to visit with one daughter, whilst the other road her bike somewhere on the peninsula. I have been trying to track down the increase in my homeowners insurance for this year. I got the new bill in Friday and the premium went up 49.64%!! No claims, no change in coverage, nothing different. Well I find out today that the State Ratings Bureau has changed my Protection Area from '8' to '9A'. And that caused my premium to go up. They say I am NOT within 1000 Feet of a Hydrant , TRUE, and that there is NOT a Fire House within 5 Miles of my house that has  tanker Truck. Well the Fire District I am assigned to is , YES 5.3 miles away. BUT, there is a Fire House, WITH a Tanker Truck 2.3 miles away, although I am not assigned to that district. So, now the insurance company is investigating why I am not given credit for the closer department. Funny thing, nothing has changed since last year. So why now?? So we'll see how long this battle rages on. Finally got my shop vacuum painted and back together, looks GREAT. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! eight days a week

    "    I see a red door and I want it painted black, no colors anymore I want them to turn back, I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes, I have to turn my head until m darkness goes, I see a line of cars and their all painted black    "    Well where have I been?? It's been over a week!! Well it's all me, I just have been doing other stuff and didn't realize I have been away so long. ' My Bad! ' Just been doing miscellaneous things, I am working on cleaning up and repainting my shop vac of 40 years. I have been going to the chiropractor every other day for treatment, and then a few errands here and there. I have been feeling real good and have been outside and doing odd stuff. Got the fountain cleaned and full and running. Did some yard stuff and some clean up. I have been busy with my fantasy baseball teams, and pretty much spent last Thursday through Sunday in front of the TV watching the Masters!! I did pick the winner in my golf fantasy league!! So nothing really, just seems like I have been on other stuff and forgot to post. But that has changed, I will be more attentive in the future, I hope! Have a chance of seeing a daughter this weekend!! That will be cool!! CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! The azaleas are in full bloom

This is by far the best sports week of the year!!  It starts with baseball opening day, then the Final Four of the NCAA tournament, then baseball kicks into FULL gear, then The Master's Golf Tournament, and for those who know, it ends with the Frozen Four!! WOW I mean I think that covers IT ALL!! I have gotten off to slow starts in three of my four fantasy leagues. But, not to worry, it's not sprint, but a marathon!! Got some good stuff going. Have been seeing a chiropractor the last week for a stiff muscle in my neck/shoulder. Seems to be getting better, SLOWLY, but better. Time to spend some hours out in the yard this week, got some chores that need to be done. It's almost time to start mowing!?!? Now one other IMPORTANT item.  An early HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my downhill baby girl!! LOVE YOU!! Keep being you, I am so very proud of how you have grown into such a positive fun individual!! Nice Job!! Will spend a lot of TV time the next four days. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Ricky, Give 'em the Heater

    "    In your high school photo, you looked so young and naive, now I heard you got a nickname, the lady with the leash, was it funny on the midnight shift, I bet you had your fair share of stiffs, there were onerous odors, I got to admit    "    Well how goes it today? Been a busy couple of days. I have been going to the Chiropractor to get my neck and shoulder worked on. It seems to be helping. Went to a Rainier's baseball game Friday night, WELL actually TWO games. They had a rain out the night before, so they played a double header each game was 7 innings. I was able to climb some stairs and sit in those VERY small seats with NO leg room. Did ok, had to get a push UP the stairs, and then held onto my brother-in-laws shoulder coming down. They had fireworks after the last game so it was a great evening. My nephew got to be color guard on the field with his boy scout troop. Rainier's won the first and lost the second. I have been up and about alot the last 3 or 4 days, but spent yesterday just chillin'!! And it felt great. My baseball fantasy teams are doing ok, there is a lot of switching in the standings the first couple of weeks and I have been any where from 1st to last in all four leagues. The standings should start to level out in a week or so. Hope to get out in the yard today and get some more chores done. And hope to be out in the yard several days this week, if the weather holds as well. Let's not talk about eBay, just NOT happening right now. The other administrative stuff is progressing along nicely at this time. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! PLAY BALL!!

    "    I hear ya and I shout, it was bad the first time around when you turned me inside out, everybody's talking showing off their wits, the moon is yellow but I'm like jello, starring down your tits, my life flashes forward then flashes back, I'm still dreaming and I'm screaming, get me off the rack!    "    Well baseball season has started!! And then so has the Fantasy Leagues!! I am in four, YES FOUR, of them this year. Should be interesting. Maybe I should write a book, ' How many Fantasy's can you belong too??' or not. Should be fun, let's see what I can do in my third year. Went out today and did some more 'stuff' if the garage. Put together my small side work bench that I  got for free when I bought my big work bench several years ago. It is the perfect size for a grinder or vise, which is what I am going to use it for. I soaked my vise in vinegar to get off the rust and grime, I will then brush it off and maybe repaint it. Just still getting stuff put in it's place in the garage, but starting to come together nicely!! Well as of toady I am on Medicare!! I hope that's good. I really hope it cuts back my medical expenses. Not much else going on, I am waiting to hear about the pension plan, and waiting to make an appointment to see my doctor about a referral to an occupational medicine doctor to take care of the Prudential Insurance issue.  I will be spending more time in the mornings I know looking over my fantasy teams and making sure they are set for the day. I have found that that seems to be the biggest differential in performance. The draft is an 'auto-draft'. So it depends on how much time you spend getting the right players into and out of your line ups. I remember two years ago one of the guys left a player on his roster, AND in the starting line up after the player got sent down to the minors!! He was on the roster for over two months, then the guy removed him, just about the time the player returned to the majors!! CHOW MOI!!
