HEY ALL!! Time to Grill!

    "    Well baby used to stay out all night long, she made me cry she done me wrong, she hurt my eyes open that's no lie, tables turn and now her turn to cry, .. ..  well I used to walk in the morning, get my breakfast in bed, when I'd gotten worried she'd easy my aching head, but now she's here and there, with every man in town, still trying to take me for that same old clown    "    Well went today and bought veggies from a local co-op. It's a thing you sign up for and then pre-order the Monday before. Then pick up on Saturday. I was IMPRESSED! Great looking veggies! I bought the regular 'basket' then also a flat of strawberries and a 2nd 'basket' called a grill pack. WOW!! Just a very wide range of fruits and veggies. Apples, lettuce, onions, pineapple, Anaheim peppers, bananas, asparagus, green onions, red, yellow peppers, etc, etc. We will see how the quality is, but so far very good. Also did some grocery shopping while I was out. So I am all stocked up. Ebay listing have ended, not much going on. I even discounts my items 20% for the last four days. AND NOTHING!!  I think I will wait about two weeks and the re-list. See if  'absence make's the heart grow fonder'. See if some of these guys start missing some items they will start buying! I keep looking out at the yard and figure one of these days I gotta mow!! It looks like the weather will hold for several days. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Happy Memorial Day

I have been late in getting back to post. I am amazed at how fast the two or three days go by. It has been a busy holiday. Went to breakfast at the local Fire Station on Saturday morning, it's a benefit function they do on most holidays. It helps raise funds for them. Then off to my sister's house for dinner Saturday night, She had several friends over and did brauts and burgers on the grill. Sat out on their front deck and just chilled out. Yesterday was a TV day. I don't have many of those during the year. But when I do, it's an all day thing. Started with the Indianapolis 500 race, then some baseball, and then drag racing in the evening. So just stayed low and close to the TV all day. No real plans for today, I got to get some filing done and find my DVD of my MRI for my Stenosis, so I can take it to my doctor this week. May sort some baseball cards as well. I am going to the Doc's to get my life insurance stuff sorted. I have a 'Disability of Wavier of Premium' on three policies and I am having problems with the companies AGAIN!! So time to sort it out AGAIN!! Will have to mow this week as well. And then need to think about eBay, been selling a little, but my need a little 'refresh' or something. Hope to pick up the pace and get this stuff SOLD!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Drugs, Sex, Rock and Roll

This week on the Rolling Stones chat board I am on they have been running a poll on what ONE song defines the Stones!! Now first of all, they have been playing for OVER 50 years!! So I don't think ONE song would do it. But, when I think of the Stones the first thing that pops into my mind is, 'drugs, sex, rock and roll'!! And I think about their songs that talk about love found, love lost, broken hearts, and ex-lovers left all over God's green earth!! NO, NO this is NOT the first line in my Auto-biography, although that would make a GREAT opening to Chapter One!! There will be something like seven polls to narrow the selection down. I heard the above referenced song today as I was heading out on some errands, I have not heard this song for a long time. And it started me thinking about stuff, and then that led to other stuff and before long I was thinking about ex-lovers left all over God's green earth!!  WOW!!  IT IS TRUE!! Careful, time to go back inside and hide for a while until the danger passes. LOL, LOL any way my fantasy baseball teams are doing well still!! And I have even been selling some items on eBay, nothing earth shattering, but still selling!! Got out today and did some watering and fixed two hoses. Hope to get a few other things done this week as well. I have been enjoying the weather and been B-B-Q for the last week or so. Stuff takes SOOO good!  CHOW MOI!!

I am still doing well in my 4 fantasy leagues, a 1st, two 3rd's and a 6th place. I am in good shape after a quarter of the season has been played. Well went in yesterday and had my esophagus stretched. Things went very well. Doctor said there was a little tightness, but everything went well. He also took a look at his handy work from January when the stapled up my bleeding ulcer. He said that looked really good as well. COOL!! I hope I am done with medical stuff for a while!! Not only because it is 'medical stuff' but also it is costing me a fortune!! Did manage to sell a couple of items on eBay, but it still remains slow. I am going to run a 'sale' on my stuff for 10 days starting on Friday the 16th, to Monday the 29th, 15% off. Hope it generates some dollars!! Almost time to get out and mow the yard again, just waiting for the temp to drop so I can be out side with out dropping myself!! CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Happy Mothers Day

Lots of love to Mom!! I also need to wish a late Happy 8th of May holiday. What?? You say, the 8th of May?? You don't remember what holiday that was?? Hooray, Hooray for the 8th of May , for that is outdoor intercourse day!!!! OH YEA, NOW you remember!! Well eBay has been getting some offers. But man are they LOW! I have only accepted one so far, and it was very borderline. The others have been WAY TOO low. I keep after it though, you never know. The thinking in the eBay world is "It only takes one". Been feeling pretty good lately. I am going in to have my esophagus stretched later this week. I have had some chocking issues since mid-December. The GI doctor will do the procedure. OH BOY more medical money that I will owe!! Mom got lucky this week and found our old landscaper guy. Funny he had worked for me back when I was at Skipper's, he was a very good employee back then. He has done some great work for us several years ago. It is nice to find him again. He is in need of some work so we will set up some stuff for him to do to help him out until he finds steady work. Maybe there's a chance we can get the yard in tip top shape!  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Get your auto insurance quote and save money .. what?

I got my auto insurance info in the mail today. I think it is TOO much, $730 for a years coverage, for JUST Liability! So I went on line to the two biggest advertisers that you see on TV. Neither one was REALLY all that close. They both came in around the $750 a year mark and I got a phone call from one of them wanting me to LOWER my coverage so they could beat the rate. REALLY?? NO THANKS!! And I hung up! I am just amazed that I am paying over $700 a year for just the state minimum, for a 15 year old truck, that doesn't drive more than 5,000 a year, to a driver that hasn't had a ticket or accident in over 10 years!! WOW!! Well my fantasy baseball teams are doing well. I am in 1st, (2) 3rd's, and 6th. So I am happy at this point. I got my homeowners insurance problem solved. I had been 're-rated' for fire coverage and that caused a 49% increase in my yearly premium. Come to find out it was some kind of clerical error, and the insurance company is sending me a corrected quote. I am SO glad I checked into this and got it solved. Ebay is STILL just quiet, sold ONE item, so far this month, and I am STILL waiting for the money!!?? So goes it. Been feeling better with the neck/shoulder thing. I think it's about time to stop going to the Chiro, he's going to start costing me too much money. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Late Happy May Day

Again mini riots and property destruction from 'friendly' marches?? WOW, and every year the Seattle Police Department takes a hit because they were 'bad' to the protesters. Let me tell you, if I had a business in downtown and someone was breaking out the front windows, I would want the police to do WHAT EVER they could to stop it and arrest everyone involved!! They gather under the pretense of 'peace' and end up just thrashing the city! I never go downtown any more, but NEVER on the evening of May 1st!! It just seems REALLY STUPID to me. These 'marchers' MUST have something better to do. How about you go up into the poorer neighborhoods and do some clean up and help some of the less privileged citizens?? How about you do something for the homeless??? Oh SORRY, can't because that doesn't involve destroying someone else's property!! Well got the yard mowed on Tuesday, and it looks marvelous! Then on Wednesday donated some stuff to my nephews up coming yard sale to benefit the OSO land slide disaster. Then out shopping on Thursday, WOW. Been a busy week, but that's fine got lots taken care of and managed to be out and about on the hottest day of the year!! Ebay is starting to show some life, but lets be patient and see how it develops. CHOW MOI!!
