HEY ALL!! more snow, more rain, nothing but sunshine

    "    Walking down the street with a sad face, always complaining about the rat race, nobody said that life was free and easy, your job it sucks it's on the line, your wife acts mean the kids all crying, I need something that's guaranteed to please me, but listen I'll tell you, I'm glad to be alive and kicking, I'm glad to hear my heart's still ticking    "    Well some VERY good and very BAD this weekend. My daughters did make it down early Friday evening. Had dinner and chat time. The original plans were made by my sister. Her hubby was coming over on Saturday to clean out my gutters (her suggestion and offer), then her son, hubby and my daughters could put out Christmas lights in the fountain garden for G'ma. Again her idea and offer. Well Saturday morning the DirecTV guy came and did his thing. My sister calls later, hubby been outside in the COLD weather the last three days puttering around their house, he is NOT cleaning out the gutters!! Well OK?? I guess, I asked her if they were still coming for dinner? I had bought dinner and dessert for seven people. Yes, we will be there later. Well about another hour or so goes by and she calls. NO, they are NOT coming by at all!! Hubby still puttering around outside and just not coming over. So no visit for her son to see his cousins!?!? AND, now I am left with WAY TOO much dinner and dessert!! So once again my sister writes a check her hubby can not cash!! This is the third time I have been burned this way. When will I LEARN??!!??!! I just don't get it, I hear all the time about how her son needs to spend time with his cousins, but then she pulls this!! WHAT EVER!! I am NOT making any plans for Christmas that include her. I am not offering dinner, I am NOT going to her place. I am tired of this BS!! Even this after a VERY nice Thanksgiving at her house. In fact it was the most pleasant holiday we have EVER spent at her place. Then to get this thrown at you. Well if nothing else I am adjustable. Still had a most wonderful time with my daughters!! Got a couple of little winter things done, and got to spend lots a chat time. They both were fighting the ends of a cough and cold, so they liked to just chill and relax. Got good ideas for Christmas gifts, and in fact, got Christmas gifts ordered while we were chatting about them. So I think I am done with Christmas shopping!! Even sold an item off of eBay too. Still dealing with very cold weather, but no snow!! It is suppose to warm up a little and start raining this week, fine by me. So will try to get back into the regular routine. Now that Thanksgiving is done, and I am off of jury duty watch. Maybe a little normal for awhile.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! deep fried, oven baked, let's have lobster

    "    I'm a flea bit peanut monkey, all me friends are junkies, that;s not really true, I'm a clod Italian pizza, I could use a lemon squeezer, what you do, but I've been bit and I've tossed around, by every she-rat in this town, have you baby    "    Well HAPPY THANKSGIVING to one and all!! May you have safe travel, eat plenty, and enjoy that afternoon nap!! It has been a wild week. I have been on jury duty watch for the last two weeks. I usually try to get out of jury duty, some how. But, this time I thought I would take a gamble. I was only on for nine days because of the holiday. Well last Tuesday they selected about twelve 'groups' to report. None of the numbers were even CLOSE tome, about 90 groups away. COOL!! Went the rest of the week with 'no jurors needed". I thought once I got past the first week, surly none would be needed the week of Thanksgiving!! Well WRONG!! Nothing on Monday, then Tuesday (again) they selected 10 'groups'. All even numbered ones. My 'group' was an odd number. So they selected all around me, but NOT me!! Then nothing for Wednesday!! WOW!! LUCKY!! YES indeed!! Then Tuesday I listed some new eBay items. One of them sold about six hours after I posted it!! VERY COOL!! So a very good week. Missed jury duty and sold an eBay item. I wen tout yesterday and got some hardware supplies for a few things around the house. I also got some wood to replace the seat part on one of the dinning room chairs. Got it all cut out to the pattern and ready to be put back together. Probably will do that Friday. Will enjoy a relaxing day today and get ready for the weekend.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! in-laws come over, you go there, restaurant time

    "    I got my money my ticket, all that shit, I even got myself a little shaving kit, what would it take to bury me I can't wait, I can't wait to see, I got toothbrush mouthwash all that shit, I'm looking down in the filthy pit, I had the turkey and the stuffing too, I even saved a little bit for you    "    Well how goes the Monday before Turkey day? This is always an odd kind of week. I know when I was working seems like there was so much to get done. Now, kind of feels the same. I have been doing a couple of little chores around the house. Had to tighten the screws on the two computer chairs, then had to take apart one of the dining chairs. The seat part had broken and I got to take it apart to replace the wooden base. Will have to make a trip to the hardware store for what I need. Then one of the arms on another dining chair has come loose. What's a poor boy to do?? Anyway just cruising along. Nothing going on with eBay. I did take some pictures and will try to list a couple of new items this week. Looks like the daughters will be down for the holiday. And my sister has volunteered her hubby and son to do a couple of odd chores around the outside of the house this week. Was able to get a guy to come by and clean up the fallen trees around the driveway. He got some good wood out of it and was thrilled. He may be back for some more wood I got laying in the back. Did manage to sell ONE item on eBay. Seem to be doing lots of research on the inter-web this week. Trying to track down a broken part for my outside weather station, trying to verify other things. I have been looking around for other items to list on eBay, and have been researching it as well. So I seem to be spending time on the  computer. Have been starting to get in the Xmas gifts that were bought. Looks like I am about done. I got in my custom made guitar strap yesterday. VERY COOL!! It is black gun belt leather with the rolling stones tongue logo stamped into it. Very stealth!  I have been playing some guitar, not as much this week. Just seems like my day runs out, and I get tired. Looks like plans are firmed up for Thanksgiving.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! rain falling, wind blowing, let's go DEEP underground

    "    It was a filthy block of flats, trash was on the floor, a stink was in my nose, hinges off the doors, she took me in her room, it was all spic and span, fixed me up a drink, turned down all the lamps, and the rain fell down, on the cold hard ground, the phone kept ringing, and we made sweet love    "    Well the rain HAS been falling down for awhile now. And, more rain and wind on the way!! It must be winter time!! Nothing going on with eBay. I have started to gather up other odds and ends I have laying around. I will start listing more items within the next week or so. I figure it is time to get more listed. I am down to 87 items, from what was a high count of over 300. I still have a few baseball items, and some other stuff that should sell, I HOPE!! Not much else going on, still working of that guitar, have been trying to spend more time each day of it. I am starting to feel it may be time for lessons again. I just am not sure, where I am going, or even where I want to go. I keep thinking just keep practicing and keep researching online. I can feel it is getting close to the holidays, funny how 'stuff' changes around this time of year. I know in the finance business we stated concentrating more on lending, all tried to dial back the collections side. At least the 'nasty' collections. Legal action and repo's, stuff like that. Been on my two new med's for a week now. Can't really tell if there is any change. I guess there really isn't suppose to be any changes.  CHOW MOI!!

What a LUCKY day, YES, lucky day!! Well traditionally for me anyway. Been a good week. Started out bad, my lipid panel numbers were NOT good. My cholesterol number was above the 'magic' number for the very first time. Barely above, but over none the less. So doctor started me on a cholesterol lowering drug. OH JOY!! They say that your cholesterol is largely based on your diet. Well funny thing, my diet has not really changed very much in the last two years or better. low carbs, lots of fruits and veggies. But this year the number was up. OK, I'll take the drug and see if I can't get the number back into the 'magic zone'. Nothing going on with eBay, no sales!?!? I would think I should start getting some action as we get closer to the holidays and closer to the Hall of Fame voting. Still strumming away on the MBA!! I think I got the 2016 medicare insurance thing handled?!?! We'll see, made my selection, although I did NOT have many choices. Did a little grocery shopping and been watching it RAIN!!  Plans are coming together for the holidays and I think things willwork out alright.  CHOW MOI!!

Got a call this morning from my doctor, my blood test came in and I am running a little high with my cholesterol levels. So doc was calling in a prescription for some meds to help out. Just stuns me, I have been at the top before, but usually OK and not needing any drugs. So I loose weight, better diet, and BOOM time to take drugs to curb it!?!? What ever. OK, fine if that helps, maybe I can get it back on my own down the road. Plans are being made for the holidays, seems one of the daughters will be out of town for Christmas. OK?!?! I think it's for a good cause. Getting some ideas for Xmas, still need a few more. Been fairly quiet and just day to day. Waiting for my jury duty to come around, and then just strumming on the black ax. CHOW MOI!!

Two doctor appointments and a trip to the lab for more blood work. Now just waiting for the results. Got my insurance paperwork filled out and sent back in. Got an overall good rating from both doctors. Had just a slight change in my meds. But I am tired today. Got several on computer chores to do today. Spent a lot of time yesterday getting some downloads to my Kindle. One of them no problem, the other one, well NOT so much. Did spend some time on the guitar, but not enough. I did find a VERY cool one with a whammy bar, and a GREAT, COOL light purple color. I put it on my 'wish list' but I doubt it. Nothing going on with eBay this week. In good shape with xmas shopping, got several more items to get, and got several items on the way. Not sure what I'm going to do for my nephew. His mom has sent me some ideas, but he is being included in on the 'care packages'. So I will think about it. Should be a rainy weekend. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! hot dogs, chicken, T-bone steak

Might even have to go and get a blood draw done, it's that time of year. Things went well at the first doctors. Got my insurance paperwork filled out, got my medication review done, and a few other questions answered. Even got a phenomena shot. Was a good weekend, lots of bad weather, windy, rainy all that stuff. Couple of days on the guitar, and went looking on-line for a couple of items. I think I want a 'slide', and should get a 'capo'. I watched the movie "Shine a Light" by the Rolling Stones. Great shots, had a lot of old interviews as well. The concert they did had a lot of older songs and not the normal 'warhorses' they play. So even more motivated. My problem wanting to play ALL the songs, I am just not that developed yet. Still enjoy practicing and playing tunes. Nothing going on with eBay, and baseball is now OVER!!! The Royals won their fourth game on Sunday. SO no more till pitchers and catchers report in February to start Spring Training. Then regular season first of April.  CHOW MOI!!
