HI ALL!! no time, some time, any time

The 'hoodlums' returned on Monday night. BUT, they only knocked on the neighbors house. The one who has been chasing them and the one who caught the two of them in my yard. Then the rest of the week has been quiet. So, maybe it was just a one time, 'see' type of thing. BUT, we shall see this weekend. Sold an item on eBay, but that's been it. Went shopping yesterday, and tiresome as usual. My hip has been OK, but my big toe is starting to hurt again. I did get an appointment with the foot doctor, but not for a couple of weeks. If it gets worse I will call and see if I can get in earlier. Been just chilling as we have had a good amount of rain. My electrical fix from last weekend is still going strong. COOL!! Was able to talk with the younger daughter and made some temporary plans for Christmas. Just depends on when she gets back from her current trip and such.Not much else going on, been still dealing with some gastro issues, but better than before, so maybe some improvement there. Seems some of the spicy foods that I like are effecting me more than ever before. Might have to drop to a simple planer diet and see if that makes a difference.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! down time, up time, no time

    "    Yeah you got satin shoes, yeah you got plastic boots, y'all got cocaine eyes, yeah you got speed-freak jive, .. .. hear me ringing big bell tolls, hear me singing soft and low, I've been begging on my knees, I've been kicking help me please, hear me prowlin', I'm gonna take you down hear me growlin' yeah I've got flat-ten feet now, hear me howlin' and all around your street now    "    WELL we GOT 'EM!! The early teen boys that were terrorizing the neighborhood!! They struck again on Friday night, around 9:15 PM. The neighbor called me Saturday afternoon and said him and a buddy were going to hang out in my woods area on Saturday night and catch the boys in the act. The neighbor came by around 8:15 PM said they were going to go and hide. At around 8:30 PM I get a call from his wife, "They caught 'em, come over to the house" So had a chance to question the boys, there were two of them. Got the police involved and called his legal guardian, his grandma. The police told her she is lucky we didn't start using a gun!! Police took all the names and information. There were about 5 other boys hanging out while all this was going down, before the police showed up. GOOD!! Hope that solves the issues. Got an item sold on eBay and shipped out today. Got the circuit breaker AND the wall socket replaced yesterday by my 13 yr old nephew and his dad. Hopefully this will resolve that issue as well. It had been tripping every day for awhile, but hasn't tripped for a week lately. Took them about an hour or so. Got them to take apart mom's drain in her bathroom and clean it out as well. Then this morning I pulled the towel bar holder out of the wall, NO, NO I mean COMPLETELY out of the wall. Now I got some major wall board patching to do. AND, I want to buy a new towel holder. I want to find one I can attach to the studs. I have been feeling a little better, no sour stomach, but have been tired. CHOW MOI!!

    "    Well I'm a lonesome schoolboy and I just came into town, yeah I'm a lonesome schoolboy and I just came into town, well I heard so much about ALLYN (London) I decided to check it out, Well I wait in Leicester Square with a come hither look in my eye, yeah I'm leaning on Nelsons Column but all I do is talk to the lions    "    Well been a full week. This post is #401 by the way. WOW!! Over 400 posts, who'd of thought?? Got several more items listed this week on eBay. And wouldn't you know, I may have one of the items sold already!! Funny how that works. I need to list about 10 or 12 more items, some of it stuff I was going to keep, and a couple of new items I remembered I don't need any more. Was able to get the gutters cleaned out today. Had a guy come by who's Mom works with mine. Young guy and he is pretty good. Said he would be happy to do some other odds and ends for us as well. COOL!! Well my hip is rounding into better condition. It has not hurt nearly as much this week. And I have been shopping and up on it a little more than normal. So that is good news. I am still waiting to get in to see my foot doc and the physical therapy guys. But upward and onward I go. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! coffee, tea, how about a STIFF one

    "    Everything in going in the wrong direction, the doctor wants to give me more injections, giving me shots for a thousand rare infections, and I don't know if he'll let me go, .. .. my bags they get a very close inspection, I wonder why it is that they suspect me, they're dying to add me to their collections, and I don't know if they'll let me go    "    Well just been doing odds and ends. My hip pain has returned, not quite as bad, but back again. I was very up and active the last three days. Friday was a trip to the doctors and the hardware store, Saturday was out in the yard, fixed the motion light on the side of the house, replaced burnt out porch lights and a general going over the yard and house. Also spent some time Sunday fixing the extra stereo and testing it to make sure it was functioning fine. So I tried to rest yesterday and today. Will spend some time working on new eBay stuff to add and probably laundry. I did get referrals for my sore big toe and a physical therapy from the doc on Friday. So I will wait for those to come through. Outside of that I am having a more constant sour stomach. So it is time to call my GI and see if there is some other ant-acid I can get on. I hope it's another over the counter thing. I have NOT been on the guitar too much. I got to start setting some time aside for eBay stuff AND guitar playing. I have been dealing with some other stuff that seems to be coming in line. So maybe I am headed in the correct way.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! State of the Union, State of the State, State of Confusion

    "    And listen I love gasoline, I drink it every day, but it's getting very pricey and who is going to pay, .. .. it's liberty for all 'cause democracy's our style, unless you are against us, then it's prison without trail, but one thing that is certain, life is good at Haliburton, and if you're really so astute you should invest in Brown & Root, .. .. it's getting very scary, yes I'm frightened out my wits, there's bombers in my bedroom, yeah and it's giving me the shits, we must have loads more bases, to protect us from our foes, who needs these foolish friendships, we're going it alone    "    Well there has been some changes in the medical tracking brought on by some government changes or regulations. I was at my doctors this morning and he had to spend a half hour on the phone with his IT department to solve some networking issues caused by regulation changes. BEFORE, he could come in and see me. He was NONE too happy!! But, got everything done and on my way. I've got a big toe infection, he prescribed some meds and set up a referral to a foot doc to look at it as well. So far this new medicine place to get my meds for this year is working out OK. Nothing going on with eBay this week. I have decided to start listing some new stuff. I just don't think I will continue to collect the Topps Finest brand. I look at it this way. I had the privileged of collecting and building the sets. I have enjoyed them from the VERY first day. So now it is time to pass on those completed sets for someone else to enjoy. I will never loose the thriller of building the original sets and I will enjoy letting someone else see what I accomplished. BESIDES, let's be frank here, the MONEY would be nice too. I have pretty much come down to just continuing to collect Nolan Ryan and Edgar Martinez. With maybe some Griffey Jr or King Felix or Ichiro thrown in. Also chatted with the doc about getting some kind of physical therapy program going, he said he would send out the referral!! My hip is 98% better, and I have even started to play a little guitar again. BUT, the meds I am on, WOW, the appetite and the sweating!! I should be done with those in about a week.Having issues STILL with the AFCI {arch fault circuit interrupter}in my bedroom. Stopped today and got a new outlet AND a new AFCI to be installed by my nephew. He needs to earn a boy scout badge for home electrics!! COOL!! Not much else going on. Doing some end of year sorting of files and such.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Knock on the door, noises in the night, what's that??

    "    Well talkin' 'bout the Midnight..sh.., the one that closed the bedroom door, I'm called the hit-in-run raper in anger, the knife-sharpened tippie-toe or just shoot 'em dead, brainbell jangler, you know the one you never seen before, coming down your marble hall, well he's pouncing like proud black panther    "    Well NEVER a dull moment. Sitting here quietly last night around 7:45 PM and BOOM, BOOM, BOOM and the door bell starts ringing about four times. Someone just beating on the front door. I ask "WHO'S THERE!!" Nothing, "WHO'S THERE!!" nothing. Take a peek out the front window, don't see a thing. Take a look out the bedroom window, nothing!! Call 911. Officers show up about 15 mins later. Tell them about what went on. They didn't see anything coming in. Will check on the way out too. Also, told them about the other 'issues' we have had over the last several years. Called the neighbors next to us. They had heard some one running through their yard and hollering at their dogs. Neighbors across from us didn't hear a thing. What the Fuck!! I am tired of this stuff!! Stolen gas, dog shit on the door step, getting egged!! Enough is ENOUGH!! I am going to do something, AGAIN!! Other than that, not much going on. The meds my doctor got me on Wednesday is starting to work. I am feeling better each day. Nothing going on with eBay. Have been playing a little guitar as well. I am eating EVERYTHING in sight, these new meds are really kicking me!! CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! voted into the HOF, dropped off the ballot, didn't even make it

Finally heard back from my doctor and got on a prescription for my hip pain. A steroidal anti-inflammatory.  After three days I do notice a marked improvement. I will take the drug for 18 days. But so far much better!! My big toe is still a mystery. Just doesn't seem to want to heal. Still soaking it so we'll see. Tried out my new medical coverage with the new prescription, all seemed to work out well. The only downfall at this point is I had to drive about 20 miles total further to get the drug. Nothing going on with eBay. Got my little error problem solved. The buyer never returned the item, so eBay closed the case in my favor and refunded me the money!! I never heard from the buyer, even after three e-mails. I am feeling good enough to get back on the guitar again. I haven't played for about three weeks!! Just WAY TOO long. I got a few little projects going on as well. I have started to catalog my other baseball cards that I plan {well for now} on keeping. It is taking a little longer than doing just the two players collections I am holding on to. Still got to go over the stereo replacement for my daughter. I at least got the replacement one here over the holidays. Now it's just a matter of getting out there and playing with it to make sure all is working fine!! Still trying to get an appointment with my doctor, want to talk to him about starting some kind of physical activity, and this big toe!! CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! hip pain, big toe pain, no brains no headaches

    "    feel like I'm bound to go, but I'll come running 'cause walking is much too slow, I'm going back to the bottom where I'm, I'm better known, 'cause when I leave this town, I won't be back no more, oh give me one more kiss mama just before I go    "    Well been dealing with lots of pain in the hip area, then it works it's way to my lower back. Been trying to get info to my doctor and find out if I can get into see him. I finally got an appointment, but NOT for a couple of weeks. Did chat with his assistant today, who was going to update doctor and we'll go from that. Still got some pain in the big toe. Have been soaking it and treating it, seems to be improving, but slowly!! Got a good help from eBay today. I had an item that the buyer wanted to return because I sent him the wrong item. My fault!! Well it's been over two weeks, and I still DON'T have the item back. So eBay today said not to worry about it. They would release the refund lien on my account and I was in the clear. SO now we'll see if the buyer responds. I still would like to get him the correct item. Been updating my baseball cards and what I have and want to hold onto and the stuff I am trying to sell. Was able to order my first drug order from my new insurance company this week as well. So looks like I got things lined up. Been just trying to be slow and rest my hurting hip till the doc can fix it.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Bonne Annee, Gelukkig Nieuwjaar, Happy New Year

I didn't make it till midnight last night. At about 11 pm it was time for bed. I did get a "happy new year" text from someone special after midnight. Thanks for that and, YES, you did wake me. I did hear some fireworks around the neighborhood as well. Got a strange visit fro the County Sheriff yesterday morning. Looking for a Ms Smith?? The officer said he had talked to her and this is the address she gave him. Said he had been by the day before as well. Told him no one hear and never has been. He didn't seem to concerned and didn't ask to search the house, so must not have been anything big. Still dealing with some hip pain, and a little back stiffness. Had a great stuff clam and lobster tail dinner last night!! Just been shuffling through the C-mas presents and what not. Did make a trip to the store(s) Wednesday. That went surprisingly well. I was VERY stiff and sore, but able to cop. Not much planed for the weekend. Some chips and what not while watching the Rose Bowl today and then just chillin'. Will get after 'things' next week. CHOW MOI!!
