HI ALL!! cash machine broke, out of money, show me the money

    "    Nothing seems to be going right, it seems easy to me that everything can be alright, .. .. , they always want to start a fight, well it scares me so, I could sleep in a shelter all night, .. .. , Y'all heard what I said, you might wake me up in the morning, and find your poor self dead    "    Well been an interesting week. I sold an eBay item last Saturday, a NICE sized one!! I am STILL waiting for the MONEY!! I will file a non-paying bidder report on Sunday if I do not get the money. Too bad, because I REALLY want the money!! Not much else going on with eBay, have gone through some more possible sets. I STILL got some expensive stuff!! Will try and get them listed next week. Went out and about today to run some errands. Took the old grill to the dump and needed to stop and get a Mother's Day gift. Went to the bank first. Slipped into the cash machine, asked it for some money, NOTHING!! It went through all the normal steps, but NEVER spit out and CASH!! Got my card and receipt, which showed I got cash!! So into the bank, explained to them. The Manager went out and ran her card, OF COURSE SHE GOT CASH!! So now I got to wait for a 'soft count' on Monday morning. Been with that bank for over 40 yrs, first time I have ever had this kind of issue. So still had to get cash to run my errands. WOW!! Anyway, done and back home to relax. My hip has been in pain all week. So I got to bite the bullet and get an appointment with my Doctor and see what's going on. I can only hope for the best. I am sure it will be MRI's and X-rays and who knows what else. It all just sounds like TOO much fun. I hope to mow the yard this weekend. It is getting VERY tall!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! close the curtains, turn out the lights, hunker down

    "    Follow it up in this strange grey town, they build it up and let it all fall down, feel like we're living in a battleground, everybody's jazzed, follow it up in this strange grey town, the paint is peeling and the sky turned brown, the bankers are wankers every Thursday night, they just vomit on that ground, and the rain fell down, the cold grey town    "    Well was laying low this weekend. It has been a busy  couple of weeks, so spent the weekend just chilling out. Minimal energy for dinner both nights and just relaxed. Was feeling OK, just not a lot of energy, so didn't do anything. It was nice, the weather was not all that great so a good weekend to be inside and relaxing. Did sell an item on eBay, and this morning going through more stuff to get ready to list. I knew I had some more fairly valuable stuff, and am getting that listed. Need to sell some of that stuff that's been on there for an VERY long time. Getting lots of looks at things however. Not much else going on, hope to get some minor chores done this week. Maybe, get the yard mowed. Would like to take care of a few things on my work bench too. The new grill is performing GREATLY!! Lots of fun to be grilling again!! Went through the freezer yesterday, seems we got a LOT of meat to cook up. COOL!! Maybe we can ease up on the trips to the store!?!? Fantasy baseball is coming along, doing overall pretty good. In first place with two teams. Fantasy golf is BAD however. I just can't seem to get the flow this year. OH well, stuff happens.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! too hot, too windy, here comes the rain

    "    Mama says yes, Papa says no, make up your mind 'cause I gotta go, I'm gonna raise hell at the Union Hall, drive myself right over the wall, .. .. , Mister President Mister Immigration man, let me in sweetie to your fair land, I'm Tampa bound and Memphis too, short fat fanny is on the loose, dig that sound on the radio, then slip it right across into Buffalo, Dick and Pat in ole D.C., well they're gonna hold some shit for me    "    Out and another day of grocery shopping yesterday. I guess it's been two weeks, needed more lunch and breakfast stuff. Got a couple of GREAT deals on meat as well. Had to restock the Honey Bourbon as well!! Felt OK, my hip pain is less, by some, but not gone like before. Almost done with my drugs as well. Been doing some stuff on eBay, a few sales here and there. That's COOL!! Fantasy baseball is in FULL swing and keeping my mornings busy. Been Bar-B-Q'ing every night!! Took a break last night and had some fried chicken from the store. The new grill has been doing GREAT!! I like it a lot. We should get some rain this weekend so we'll see how much grilling I get in. Still got the old grill in the back of my truck, waiting to go to the dump. Just haven't done that yet. Got a few other projects I need to work on out in the garage as well. AND, the yard is crying to be mowed again. Need to get some weed killer down soon too. So plenty of 'things' going on. That's fine, keeps me moving!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! grilling time, Bar-B-Q time, just COOK it

    "    Well you've got your diamonds and you've got your pretty clothes, and the chauffeur drives your car, you let everybody know, but don't play with me, .. .. , your mother she's an heiress owns a block in Saint John's Wood, and your father'd be there with her if he only could, but don't play with me, .. .. , your old man took her diamonds and tiaras by the score, now she gets her kicks in Stepney, not in Knightsbridge anymore    "    Well it was a VERY busy weekend. Went shopping for a new bar-b-que. Went to Tacoma to the Sears Outlet store. Have had lots of good luck there before. They only had ONE Kenmore grill!!?? Lots of Char-Broil grills. I asked the salesman and he said that's all the Kenmore's they have. How odd?? Then ran over to the Sears store in the mall. They had wall to wall Kenmore's, AND they were on sale!! Then it dawned on me, the outlet store was selling off all the Char-Broils, there were NO Char-Broils out on the sales floor at the store!! OK!! Well found a GREAT one!! A little bigger than my current one, both in grill space and side tables. Got free assembly and got a great free home repair plan for three years. They will come OUT to me and replace burners, grates, heat deflectors, etc!! COOL!! Could not take it home Saturday because it would not fit in the Rogue. So back to Sears in Tacoma Sunday morning to pick up the Que. No problems, had to stop three times to re-adjust the tie-downs but home safe and sound!! The next door neighbor was NOT home, so called my sister's place, looking for help to unload the grill. No one answered, left message, she called back about 8 hours later. "OH, just saw that I had a message, what did you want??" Called the neighbor at the top of the driveway, he came RIGHT down and helped me unload the new, and re-load the old in my truck!! COOL!! Had a GREAT steak off the grill for dinner!! SO good to be grilling again!! Did sell an item from eBay as well!! Feeling OK, considering all the out and about stuff I did over the weekend. I have been on the go for the last four days!! That is just NOT normal. Hope to spend a quiet day relaxing today. It is also suppose to be plenty WARM out today!! I was thinking about mowing the yard tomorrow, but it is suppose to be even warmer. Then rain comes Wednesday. So I'll wait a few days before mowing.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! get the facts straight, is it live or is it Memorex

    "    I went down to the Chelsea drugstore, to get your prescription filled, I was standin' in line with Mr. Jimmy, A-man did he look pretty ill, we decided that we would have a soda, my favorite flavor cherry red, I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy, yeah and he said one word to me and that was dead, I said to him    "    Well I actually had to go to the Chelsea ( err- Shelton ) drugstore and get MY prescription today. Doctor finally got drugs called in for my hip pain. Hope it works as well as last time!! I have one minute on my soap box, I was watching the news last night, there was a car that drove into a group of kids waiting for their school bus yesterday morning. The first reporter was saying how six (6) kids were hurt and taken to the hospital, none of them more serious than a broken leg -good-. He went on to talk more about the wreck and the driver. They switched to a female reporter . First thing out of her mouth, seven (7) kids injured!!?? WHAT!!?? Which is it. SIX or SEVEN?? I turned the channel a few moments later. I got to thinking, if they can't get THAT simply fact straight, than what other part of that story, OR any other story is correct??!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Made a trip to the grocery stores yesterday. We got to split up our shopping because one store does not care everything we like!! Thank goodness they are close together and we get gas rewards at both. Been getting some good hits on eBay, got a couple of things pending right now, and sold an item the other day as well. Been thinking it's about time to get a new bar-b-que. Just have to decide when I want to make the effort and go find one that I like. Got a few ideas, but not 100% sure. Really would like to get back to grilling!! I do miss it!!  CHOW MOI!!

SORRY! I was in sooo much pain from my hip, I was lucky to do ANYTHING yesterday. Feels a little better today. I tried some 'infused' cookies on Sunday. Had one mid day, and then a second one when I went to bed. Although they did help some, what they really did was just run right through me!! WOW!! I need to stay away from those in the future. And, I woke up yesterday with more pain than the last several days. I did put in an e-mail to my doctor, either some drugs or an appointment. Waiting to hear back. Did get some eBay stuff done yesterday, but not much else. Still going OK with the fantasy baseball teams. The weather has turned to more normal early spring like. Hope my hip gets better, I got to do some shopping some time this week. Seems like I am always running out of lunch stuff. Must be because I have lunch seven times a week!! CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! sunny day, just day dreaming, tall cold one

    "    Went out walkin' through the woods the other day, and the world was a carpet laid before me, the buds were bursting and the air smelled sweet and strange, .. .. Mary and I would sit upon a gate, just gazin' at some dragon in the sky, what tender days we had no secrets hid away    "    Well another sunny day in the Pacific NW. Yesterday was 80 degrees, more like middle of August than April. Been watching the Masters, none of my fantasy picked players are doing too well, in fact, I'll be lucky if they make the cut! Fantasy baseball is going full blown, it has been kind of a sputtering start. There were two rain outs on opening day, and the rest of the week has been odd. Even today, when ALL teams should be playing, two of them are off. I can't remember a Friday when two teams had the day off. I am not sure why. My hip is still the pain, it seems to be getting a little less, but not enough to be jumping up and down for. Ran some errands yesterday and got some stuff done. Been working on some eBay stuff this week. Was able to sell two VERY nice items this week. I think I will set some of that money aside and buy a NEW Bar-B-Que!! I SO want to be out grilling this week!! Not much else going on. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! .. The azaleas are in full bloom ..

In the world of golf, none better!! The ladies tour just completed their first major with Ms. Ko jumping into Poppie's pond!! What a great tradition that is!! On the men's side, well NONE better, The Masters is this week, their first major. Also have the NCAA men's Championship game tonight, and the ladies Championship game tomorrow night!! WOW!! AND, AND, NOT to be out done!! Baseball starts with opening day today!! GOOD!! I am ready for major golf and baseball season!! I have got all 8 of my fantasy baseball teams up and running. Things look good at this point. Even managed to sell an item on eBay yesterday, COOL! Now just keep it rolling!! Went grocery shopping yesterday, WOW!! Lots of money, but maybe we can get through the next couple of weeks?!?! I hope! My hip is in FULL pain!! Ice packs, pain patches, nothing seems to help much. They stem the pain for awhile, but it returns. I guess next is a call to the doctor, let him work his magic. So glad to get the electrical problem resolved, got the bill today, not too bad with everything considered. I am sure I would have paid as much for any other company, but would of had to wait until today to get it fixed. AND, there was NO WAY I was sleeping in that bed again!! Looking for a great week,  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! low power, no power, blown circuit breaker

I got a cold chill, I get a cool thrill, are you ready for the gilded cage, are you ready for the tears of rage, come on baby don't let them drown you out    "    Well what a LONG night. Got ready for bed, watching a little TV in my room as I wind down. Then 'boom' power goes out. Well I thought, NO, NO just my wall sockets. Not THAT again!! Go out to the garage, flip the circuit breaker, NOTHING!!, Again, NOTHING!! What the F%&$!! Can't get the power for the wall sockets to come on, PLUS I see the smoke alarms are off. Well can't sleep in my room, no heater for the WATERBED!! So off to the extra bedroom. I have a VERY full understanding why my kids are not down here EVERY weekend now. That spare bed is BAD!! Well at least for me it was. Up and down all night, finally got about 4 hours of sleep. Spent several hours calling electrical companies trying to get someone out here - TODAY.  Finally did. Thank God!! They checked around, found a hot wire had come loose in the socket I (we) replaced, and it was causing an arch, and that is what was tripping the circuit breaker!! Also, found out that the circuit breaker I have will work, but will NOT pass an inspection. OK, one more thing to put on the better buy it list. But now all is fixed and this time for good!! Now a great night's sleep is in order. Long week, topped off by this. My hip has been feeling a little better, but NOT today. CHOW MOI!!
