HI ALL!! Happy Halloween 2016

Had to go grocery shopping, did not get a chance to mow the yard. Still need to get it mowed at least ONE more time this year. Waiting for a couple of days of no rain, over cast is OK, just no rain. Should hear something on my truck this week. Have a couple of errands I need to run as well. Figure not to see any kids tonight for Trick or Treating. I can't remember seeing any since we have been here. Hope the 'bad' kids stay away. We have not had ANY issues since we caught them several months ago. Hope they continue to stay away. Should start getting plans from my daughters for the holidays soon. I think Christmas is out, so I'm hoping for LOTS of time over Thanksgiving. Nothing going on with eBay. I am amazed how slow it is. WOW!! Got our new garbage can today,it's provided by the County and is one of those that can be picked up by the truck. COOL. It sure looks small.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! World Series is in FULL swing

They will look at it and let me know for sure what's going on. Should be middle part of next week to get it back. Got a good referral from my local mechanic, and then saw some good reviews on their web page. They have almost the whole block full of shops. Must have been 15 doors, and all of them had vehicles in the bays and most had vehicles inline to get into the bay. Looks like a VERY busy place. It will be good to have the Ranger back and running good again. I think my next BIG thing will be the engine, it is running great now, but with 330,000 miles you just never know. Not really much else going on. Got a couple of eBay offers that were too low. I made counter offers that were only $25 more. NEVER heard back from the guy. WHAT EVER!! I am STILL NOT giving away the goods!! When do people realize that. HOLD on I know that answer -NEVER-. So on we go with the listings.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! another rainy day cool

    "    What a drag it is getting old, kids are different today, I hear ev'ry mother say, Mother needs something today to calm her down, and though she's not really ill, there's a little yellow pill, she goes running for the shelter of a mother's little helper, and it keeps her on her way gets her through her busy day    "    Well had a good weekend. Tried to spend some time then and today figuring out what I want to do about my Ranger's clutch repairs. Kind of got a plan in place, I think I will spend some time on the plan tomorrow and see if it will all work out. I know I will have to have my Ranger up and running, so need to take the leap and get it fixed, WITHOUT putting myself behind the eight ball. Thank GOD I was in the finance world for so many years and have a creative mind to work on things like this. Nothing going on with eBay, still just way TOO quiet. I have no idea why!! Got in some good guitar practice this weekend, I also have to trim that plan too. I think I will go to twice a month, and maybe drop it for December and January. If there is another song I want, I can buy the sheet music and learn it myself. I am not sure what the teacher can do. I need to find out what else he needs to show me before I take a couple of months off from him. I am also trying to trim some of my diet. I think the nightly ice cream is bothering me, I have become lactose intolerant over the past four or five years. I have cut out milk and ice cream at random like I use to do. I am thinking about cutting back on the cheese intake as well. Maybe one serving, every other day and see how my gut likes that. Just a few tweaks is all.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! get that skin tag

    "    Living high sitting in the sun, sit on your ass till your work is done, you lazy mother your hands are clean, you pull the strings and you got the clout, there's something filthy living in your mouth, pushing your buttons you get away clean, you let somebody do the work, find some loser find some jerk    "    Well went to the doctors today to get a skin tag removed from my back that has been bothering me the last several weeks. Wan't sure what is was, so had the doctor look at it. YES, just a skin tag, he froze it off. Also got my flu shot. I go back in about a month for my yearly medicine review. Had to get up early this morning and run mom to her work. So I could have the car to go to my appointment. First real shuffle we have had to do since the Ranger had it's problems. Not too bad. Ended up going to the grocery store for a few things while we were out. Been good weather now late in the day the rains a commin'. NOTHING going on with eBay!! I have several sales running as well and not getting anything at all!! WOW!! Not much else going on. Looking for a weekend of guitar practice!! The Huskies are NOT on TV???  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! now it's just rain rain rain

    "    The wind blows rain into my face, the sun glows at the end of the highway, .. .. .. .. rub your rainy eyes, give me a wide-awake crescent-shaped-smile, she shivers by the light she is hidden, she flickers like a lamp lady vision, the first car on the foggy road riding, the last star for my lady is pining, give me a misty day pearly gray silver silky faced wide-awake crescent-shaped smile    " Well made it through the storm, plenty of wind -not as mush as was forecast-, and more than enough rain. In fact it is still raining today, and should be for another several days. Oh well such is this time of year around here. Didn't do much over the weekend, just stayed inside and watched the weather. Did have phone land line problems all weekend. Had power and had internet, just no land line phone. Called the phone company, they showed NO outage in my area, so it must be MY phone. Their automated system scheduled a tech to come out, then got called about 4 hours later to be told there was NO tech working that day!?!? Then WHY did your automated service schedule one?? What a total waste of time. I could go on-line and see that there WERE outages in my area. But they didn't know that. What ever, so waiting for a tech today. My daughters took their cousin to a football game Sunday, by all accounts everyone had a GREAT time!! Got a couple of errands this week.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! batten down the hatches a storm's a comin'

    "    I was a butcher cutting up meat, my hands were bloody I'm dying on my feet, I was a surgeon till I start to shake, I was fallin' till you put on the brakes, .. .. .. .., I was a pitcher down in a slump, I was a fighter taken for a sucker punch, feeling bad I guess I lost my spring, I was the boxer who can't get in the ring    " Well I am late with a post  -AGAIN-!! I had to go take care of some stuff to get ready for the up coming double whammy storms. Did have some issues with the inter-web yesterday, on and off etc. Then had to go grocery shopping to stock up, not only for the storms, but was just out of everything. So errands done!! Went to my foot doctor this week. AND YES, he did the partial permanent nail removal procedure. He took a sliver of the nail from both sides of the toe. He said it was the best thing to do to get the nail and the infection healed. Not really any pain with it, and so far it seems to be reacting to treatment just fine. Did sell one item through eBay, but nothing else going on. After I paid for postage I think I made $5 on the deal. But item sold and we'll hope for more. I got 139 items listed!! Been watching some playoff baseball and practicing with the guitar. Still have not done anything with the Ranger. I did call I confirm cost and time frame to repair the clutch. Now I just got to figure out a way to pay for it. We have been using one car this week, and so far not too bad. BUT, I am not sure how long that will work out. I know for the next week it should be just fine. So I need to get this handled within the next couple of weeks.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! .. Hall of Fame has called

    "    Ain't it funny how things happen, just as we think we got it all straight, everything seems to be moving forward, but instead we just sit around and wait, seems things are in a lockdown, nervous looks all around, everyone is speaking in whispers, no one wants to make a sound, .. .. .. .., keep an eye on your front door baby, I'll be slipping in 'round the back    "    Well had an absolutely wonderful weekend in Yakima. My oldest daughter was inducted into the State's Dane coaches Hall Of Fame WAY TO GO RM!!!! Had a nice stay at the Hotel, the bed was OK, I just have a hard time sleeping in anything besides a waterbed any more. I did get some sleep, but not enough, and I was VERY sore the next day. Great easy drive over the mountains and back. Made good times both ways, and stayed out of the rain too!! Got to chat some with my son-in-law as well -bonus!! Anyway, several things going on this week. I have not decided what to do about my Ranger yet. I know I am going to get it fixed. I just got to make some calls, and figure out how to pay for it all. Fun times!! Re-loaded eBay stuff today, hope to sell some stuff. Looks like another week of rain as well, so no more grilling I guess. I got to get the cover on the B-B-Q, and should make one last mow of the yard.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! two hurricane's at once

WOW, now they're saying there will be TWO hurricanes early next week. WOW!! I love right where I am living, thank you very much. Been a good week, couple of errands and guitar practice. Still loving the guitar and trying to practice every day. Some days are good, some NOT SO MUCH!! Trying to adapt to no fantasy baseball. WOW, I guess I will get by, already set for next year. Very little on eBay, a couple of 'silly' offers, that I quickly shut down. I use to give a counter offer, but these have been so bad that I just decline the offer. I did add a comment to let them know they got to bring their "A" game when making offers to me. Really missing out on grilling as well. Have used the broiler in the oven several times, and that works out OK. BUT, nothing like grilling on the outdoors grill. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! it's wild card time

Had an easy Saturday, and chilled after the store on Sunday. Watched the last of the regular season baseball. I finished up my fantasy baseball, TWO first place, Two second, Two third, and Two seventh. Not a bad year at all. Learned some new tricks and things to do, and learned some stuff not to do. Nothing going on with eBay. I really thought it would have picked up by now. Not sure what's going on. Should have more stuff to list shortly, and then will look at what I got and see what I want to do going forward. Have not been able to grill, I think that time has gone. I need to get the cover on the grill for the winter. CHOW MOI!!
