HEY ALL!! short work week keeping it cold

    "    Please pour another glass it's time to watch the cabaret, your wife will never know that you're not really working late, your hostess is Wendy you'll find her very friendly too, and we don't care just what you do    "    Well for those that are pounding the work clock, it's only a four day work week. Although I always found it sure FELT longer that four days. The "man" always seems to get his fair share out of you. Went to visit one of the daughters yesterday, great time. Ended up also going to a store to look for a new refrigerator. We have decided that ours is NOT going to make it. Can't get it cold enough and it seems to run ALL THE TIME!! So YES, we found what we wanted, AND at a VERY reasonable price. It will be delivered in about a week or so. They will EVEN take away the old one!! SO cool! Got a few more things listed on eBay this week, but still not getting any action. The battle with my sister continues, now she is threatening to not let her son see or talk to us if we don't stop saying bad things about her. So VERY typical, can't get your way, so use the grand child as a weapon! We have not said bad things about her, ONLY THE TRUTH!! This again goes to prove, she needs PROFESSIONAL HELP!! Been a warn few days and I can't seem to figure out how to keep the place cool through the day. I REALLY miss my heat pump!! But, will keep at it and see.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Indy 500 and Memorial weekend

    "    When your baby leaves you all alone, and nobody call you on the phone, doncha feel like drying, when your all alone in your lonely room, and there's nothing but the smell of her perfume, doncha feel like crying    "    Well another week of 'stuff'. My sister still hell bent on causing what ever trouble she can. Now threatening to not let her son see G'ma and Uncle if we keep saying bad things about her. What she doesn't understand is that we have NEVER said bad things about her, ONLY THE TRUTH!! Not much going on with eBay this week, did get some lookers, but that's it. Got some more stuff to post, see if I can't get some "A-C-T-I-O-N" going!! Still adjusting to the penthouse, but still loving it!! I really enjoy the B-B-Q and being able to grill every night. I think starting to get into routines. Fantasy baseball is still a struggle, but I am making some progress in a couple of leagues. Plans to just chill over the weekend, watch the Indy 500 and relax. Got a couple of things I want to do next week to get some 'family' stuff lined up. Should have two more contractors coming by to give us bids on the remodeling we want to do. Have had two contractors come by so far, but NO bids yet!?!? Not sure if they are just lazy in getting bids out, or if they just don't want to do the work?? Oh well.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! ripping the family apart

    "    Baby the truth is out so don't deny, baby to think I believed all your lies, darlin' I can't stand to see your face, it's the truth you don't understand    "    Well my sister is at it again. She just seems hell bent on destroying the family. We (mom and I) got a TON of flack nine years ago when we moved into our new house. Things eventually settled down and became some what peaceful, at times. Well it all started up again with our latest move. And has just gotten uglier and uglier!! She has levied all the threats she can, and I just don't respond. That just eats her up. Well stuff had started to die down a bit, when yesterday her son text G'ma to tell her when when the up coming birthday (I think that has something to do with it, my sister HATES!! birthdays, and especially HATES it when you bring it up to her) party is, and the fact that "mom says uncle is NOT invited". Well G'ma responds, "if uncle can't go than neither can I". Also with this going on we discover that the family heirloom ( a piece of yard art made from old scrap car parts back in the late 60's, which had sat on my G'pa property for several years, and then my dad rescued it and had for all this time -50 yrs- the 'roadrunner' had come to symbolize the family) has been altered by her. Painted over the family name and added her current last name, which she promised to mom "I would never take the family name off of it". ALSO, her main reason to get the item was to pass it on to her son. Well we see in pictures that this METAL item has been buried in the ground and covered with cement. Mom's comment was "it will rot". She just cussed out mom for saying that. Well cement is porous, it's metal, it's in the ground. HELLO RUST!!!! The item's base has NEVER been buried before, because of that. It has always been secured with some kind of chain, and then the CHAIN is buried. OH WELL!! So it has been upsetting times, I am still amazed at how badly she treats and especially writes to Mom. The words she uses are worse than anything I have ever heard. AND, EVERY sentence is laced with them. I have said it for a long time, and I still say it -GO GET SOME PROFESSIONAL HELP!! So onward we go. Did manage to get my items relisted on eBay yesterday. FINALLY!! So far some lookers, but nothing else. Did make a little sale on the other web page the other day!! Am really starting to enjoy the penthouse!! It is so cool to be Bar-B-Queing EVERY day!! Starting to meet some of the other tenants as well. Still working on getting a contractor to do a minor remodel, but just feeling more and more at home. CHOW MOI!!

    "    when you give me a smouldering look and put out your cigarette, when I saw you come samtering over you wore a pale blue dress, and it won't take long to forget ya, you know I'm never wrong, It'll all be over by Christmas    "    Well got some good stuff done this week. Finally got boxes to return my old TV boxes. And, should be getting some refunds back from them. It may take a while, but I should get some money back. Had one of the old accounts that we closed out, STILL charge us for another month of service. Had to get that stopped, and in the process they credited us back to the wrong day, one whole month earlier than actual, OH WELL!! It would have been FAR too hard to correct it. I'll take it!! Ran some errands and got some miscellaneous things, starting to get stuff put away. Even sold some baseball cards off the web!! So getting more 'moved in' and feeling comfortable each day. Really starting to LOVE the penthouse and the location. We can go out and be back in no time at all. VERY COOL!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! post Mother's Day still good times

    "    Things are different today, I hear ev'ry mother say, cooking fresh food for a husband's just a drag, so she buys an instant cake and she burns her frozen steak, and goes running for the shelter, and two help her on her way, and get her through her busy day, doctor please some more of these, outside the door she took four more, what a drag it is getting old    "     Well had a GREAT day with Mom yesterday. Her favorite doughnut place, and her favorite Mexican food place!! Did spend the weekend out and exploring our new place. Went looking for some things, and then just sight seeing. Getting stuff put away, a little more each day. I should get stuff back on line this week, I HOPE!! I need to start selling some stuff again!! Trying to get bids to do a little remolding in the master bath, I want to rip out the tub and put in a walk in shower. Will get several bids, I hope. Not much else going on, have NOT started to play guitar again. Just seems like about the time I figure to sit down and start playing, I am sooo tired, or it is late. I am trying to cut back a little each day and yet still get things put away. We are making progress, with still plenty to do. Haven't EVEN touched the storage room yet?!?! Not sure WHAT that will take. My fantasy baseball teams are still just getting drilled. I just can't seem to catch a break and get good things going. Still lots of season left.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! the playoffs the payoffs and the season grinds on

    "    When the wind blows and the rain feels cold, with a head full of snow, in the windows there's a face you know, don't the night pass slow, the sound of strangers sending nothing to my mind, just another mad mad day on the road, I am just living to be lying by your side    "     Well making GREAT progress on getting settled in. Starting to get some routines down and getting things REALLY in their place. Been cooking EVERY night on the grill!! So VERY cool. Going to try and get out and explore some more of the area soon. Most of ours trips out have been to grocery shop or something. Very close to getting my listing going again on the various web sites, and start selling some of this stuff, again. My fantasy baseball teams are hurting. I just can't seem to get them headed in the right direction. Missing a week from the move has hurt me more than I thought it would. But, I still got plenty of the season left to get flying high, again!! Not much else going on, feel like I am tired quicker the last several days. I think I am making up for all the energy spent on packing and house hunting over the last two months. But, am feeling good, just not lots of get up an go. That should come around soon enough however.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Happy 8th of May go celebrate

    "    Well you've got your diamonds, you've got your pretty clothes, and the chauffeur drives your car, and you let everybody know, your mother she's an heiress, owns a block in Saint Johns Wood, and your father'd be there with her, if he only could, your old man took her diamond's and tiaras by the score    "    Well it's time to celebrate another holiday. HOORAY HOORAY FOR THE 8TH OF MAY!! For it is notional outdoor intercourse day!! So go OUT and celebrate!! Well got the BIG stereo system set up over the weekend. WOW!! Have I got some WOOFER!! Was able to get everything working, except I never tried the 8-track yet. There was one hick up with the phonograph. I am getting sound but from only one channel. So maybe I hooked up something wrong, or something came loose, or there is an issue with one of the channels. I will look into it and find out. I also was able to fine a place to take the turntable and get some TLC done to it. Which is MUCH needed. I also found a place to get our old cuckoo clock fixed. It's one my dad bought his folks when he was in Germany back in the VERY early 50's!! SO that will be cool too.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Happy Cinco de Mayo still adjusting

    "    Now who's that black girl in the bright blue hair, now don't you know it's rude to stare, I'm not so green but I'm feelin' fresh, I simply like to put her to the test, she's so alive and she's dressed to kill    "    Well getting comfortable with everything new, been two weeks now. Starting to get stuff put away, and find places for other things. Still a few adjustments, but I as REALLY starting to like the joint!! Should be able to Bar-B-Que for the first time tonight!! I think a couple of STEAKS!! The place feels hot at night in the living room, trying to adjust the heater and figure out how to keep it cool. Still got a few ideas. Got to see our first thunder storm and plenty of rain!! NONE of it got on the deck!! I like being so close in to everything. Still adjusting, but just settling in more and more. Got rid of all the broken down boxes and boxes full of paper yesterday. The moving company actually came and pick them up FOR FREE!!! So cool. Anyway more updates, hope to get the "stereo" system up and running this weekend!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! the penthouse view is AWESOME

    "    Can you feel the magic hangin' in the air, can you feel the magic oh yeah, love is a mystery I can't demystify oh no, sometimes I wonder why we're here, but I don't care, can you feel the magic dancin' in the air, but I get scared I get scared    "    Well finally in the PENTHOUSE CONDO!!!! WOW!! So many great things going on!! REALLY LOVE!! the location. And starting to find all the hidden pluses from this condo, and enjoying each one when it revels itself. I am SO happy we moved. It was a VERY hard process, and did do some damage to part of the family. BUT, also did some very wonderful things for other parts of the family, and quite frankly the MOST important parts of the family to me. Still have a very little unpacking to finish up, then need to get stuff put away. I am sure we will move things several times before we find a place for all the stuff. But, so far it is getting VERY cool!! I have been off line for WAY TOO long. Some of that due to the fact that I had no internet for about a week. And the rest of it just being so busy packing and moving and unpacking and everything that goes with that whole process. But, I am up and live NOW and hope to get back to my twice a week postings. Still lots to do to get fully acclimated to the area. Think we found a store to grocery shop in, but still need doctors and what not. Bottom line SO glad this happened, and I feel MUCH happier!!  CHOW MOI!!
