Been a good week. Had a quiet weekend. Got to watch a show we had not seen yet. Live streamed it. Got a month free of streaming, so we'll be done with it before I should have to pay. Couple of errands to run this week. Also, I hear someone (??) has a birthday coming up. WOW!!!! Nothing really going on with eBay. A few odd messages, from I'm sure a few odd people. But no sales. Playing guitar and just trying to handle the heat. MAN, I sure miss the HEAT PUMP!!!!! Got a few things rolling and need to follow up this week. Hope to be closer to making a choice on the contractor as well. Not really much else. Hope to see some daughters shortly. I know one is about to have a free day or two, and the other is coming up soon I hope. Still grillin' daily!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! summer time in the city

    "    I take the 10 to Phoenix be in Tucson by afternoon, get some shut eye and pizza and a bite at the greasy spoon, took a turn off 90 I should have stayed on the interstate, I was lost in the real my map was kind of out of date, I saw the lights of Marfa I guess it was the scenic route, when I had to change a tire I'm glad I wore my Western boots    "    Well been a good week. Had to do some more shopping, seems like we go to the grocery store a lot, and then I check the bill for the month, AND YES, we go to the store A LOT!! Got a chance to visit with one daughter for several hours yesterday. Her schedule is not really getting any lighter, but is changing some, so maybe we will see her more. The other one should have her schedule lightning up shortly, so will get to see her as well. They are trying to make plans for my up coming birthday. Got in another bid for the bathroom remodel. Again, a little higher than I would like, but so be it. Now just have to see if I can twist down the totals some ow and then get this project DONE!! Nothing really going on with eBay. Am making some progress on fantasy baseball. I got a couple of teams that are climbing up the standings, I didn't think I would have that good of a chance this year, after the set back on the move and all. Got some key stuff lined up this week, Trying to get some stuff done and finished, that "paper stuff"!! CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!!! gate keeper or key master

    "    Oh s storm is threat'ning my very life today, if I don't get some shelter oh yeah I'm gonna fade away, ooh see the fire is sweepin' our very street today, burns like a red coal carpet mad bull has lost its way    "    Well she's back!! Things were just too quiet from down south, and then she sends e-mails. I'm sure she is getting ready to proclaim some very bad stuff. Setting the stage to use her child against grandma. Even when you leave her alone, like she asked, she still wants something. I know EXACTLY what that 'something' is to, it's M-O-N-E-Y!!! She had better cool it, 'cause it will NOT end nicely for HER!! Seen this type of "stuff" before, I know the landscape all too well. Sorry to say. OK, On to other things.... Not much going on with eBay, did re-list my items and added several more. Got the shepherds hooks hung up on the patio. Look very cool, and does what I wanted. Several other things got done as well. SO good week, and still got some things to take care of. But making progress. Playing more guitar and getting back into the swing of it. Still enjoy grillin' every day.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! sunny day not too hot

    "    My spirit is winging my soul is free, I'm doing my drinking in good company, the music's screaming my feet are flying, everybody's laughing and nobody's crying, sneak suspicion it drags me down, a nagging felling going 'round    "    Well another BIG shopping trip yesterday, just seems to never end. I don't think we are buying any thing extravagant. Got about 10 days worth of meat, and then the usual, breakfast stuff, lunch stuff, and some miscellaneous. We have been talking about it, and hope to see some drop in the monthly output. Still waiting for the patio chair to get returned, and still waiting on the final bid from a contractor. Hope to get this all done and then get the remodel under way. I think I got plans in place to be able to do it all. Nothing going on with eBay, I got a SWEET sale going, so maybe. Also got to add a few new listings. Thinking about trying to find a way to get my WHOLE card collection up for sale. Need to figure out how to get all the common cards listed. At least that way I have a chance of someone offering a deal to me. That is priority #1. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! US Women's Open 2nd half baseball

    "     But I see you on the subway, I see you on the D train, hey see her in the afternoon just after the Giants game, I see her on the freeway, Long Island Expressway, hey give me a break baby, help me get out of this rain, I saw her on a runway, Saint Patrick's on a Sunday    "    Well been a good week. Was able to get a response from one of the contractors. He is going to get a bid together soon. Also, paid some bills, and some other miscellaneous stuff. Got to spend part of a day in the storage room re-organizing. Still have not found the brackets that hold the Shepard's hooks. Found the hooks, not the brackets. Was able to empty a couple of tubs and a box into the rolling work cart. So making some progress and starting to get some room in storage. Got a couple of more spots to look for those brackets, then I got another idea for getting them hung up. That will free up some things and we just keep progressing along. Played some guitar, but NOT nearly enough!! Need to get back on that EVERY DAY!! Trying to put together plans for around my birthday. It will be a challenge. Even living up here os close to the girls, it will STILL be hard to do.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! All - Star time

    "    Women think I'm tasty, but they're always tryin' to waste me, and make me burn the candle right down, but baby baby I don't need no jewels in my crown, 'cause all you women is low down gamblers, cheatin' like I don't know how, but baby baby there's fever in the funk house now, this low down bitchin' got my poor feet a ichin', don't you know the duece is still wild    "    Well got a little break from the heat yesterday. VERY NICE!! It's MLB All-Star night. I have always liked the game. It's a fun 'exhibition'  and I enjoy watching other players I don't get to see very often. Nothing going on with eBay, was selling some items, but it has slowed now. This is a good time to evaluate the fantasy leagues and see what changes or trades I need to make to get back in the race. I am doing well in a couple of the leagues, but NOT so much in two others. Trying to get the final bids in on the bathroom remodel. Need to decide what we are going to do, and the n GET it done!! Got the re-screened door and window back late Saturday. Got them in and they look great! The screen door was a bit of a hassle but got it in. Things are just hummin' along. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! the heat is a comin'

    "    The music is mighty, mighty, fine, play it rough, cause music is what I want, to keep my body always moving, yeah shake it up, everyday I get another dose, I can't stand it when the music stops    "    Well had a busy week. Got to entertain my eldest and hubby for the forth. Then errands, errands, and more errands. Took the screen door and a window screen in to be re-screened. I use to do that, I probably STILL got the tool!! But no more, so it will be 'about two weeks' REALLY?? Then took the broken patio chair over to the college to have the welding shop fix it. COOL!! Very friendly and a rare thing that they do. Had to go shopping today, WOW, again, too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I just don't get it!! Got to find a way to cut back on the groceries!! Have sold a couple of things on eBay, nothing big, but still count as sales! Been feeling pretty good, got to play guitar several times. But, it is just getting too warm. I'm lucky if I can keep the inside temp under 78 degrees. Then once it starts to cool off in the evening, I slide open the glass door and turn up the fan. I can get it to around 68 degrees by morning, then it just slowly heats up through the day. I think a ceiling fan would help. And not much sure what else I can do. But, I will keep trying until I figure something out. Still grilling!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! more donuts!!

    "    I live in an apartment on the ninety-ninth floor of my block, and I sit at home looking out the window imagining the world has stopped, then in flies a guy who's all dressed up like a Union Jack, and says I've won five pounds if I have his kind of detergent pack, don't hang around 'cause two's crowd n my cloud    "    Well got out early this morning and got some Darren Donuts!! They are SOOOOOOO good!! and CHEAP!! Then back home and got dressed proper and went grocery shopping. Got stuff for tomorrow. Going to have a little get together. My oldest and hubby will be by, brats, chips, baked beans, watermelon, and PLENTY to drink, and of course all the accouterments that go with it. Seems like I have been spending more $$$$ at the store than normal. Not much else happening, still working on a couple of cool songs with the guitar. Even sold another item on eBay!! Nothing that will get me rich, but that's the third item so far on this round of selling.  CHOW MOI!!!

HI ALL!! Tour de France is under way

    "    Living high, sitting in the sun, sit on your ass till your work is done, you lazy mother your hands are clean, you pull the strings and you got the clout, there's something filthy living in your mouth, pushing your buttons you get away free    "    I am not sure why, but The Tour de France just has a trance on me. I have watched it, or read about it since the early 80's. I have NO desire to ride like that, in fact, I probably haven't been on a bike in over 45 years!! But I like the team work and the different roles that the teammates take. It is VERY cool to see a team working together and how well they can do. Well have sold two items off of eBay, nothing BIG, but still a sale is a sale!! Starting to play a little more guitar now, I am even thinking about finding a local teacher to get me back on track. I have been working on a couple of new songs, and making some progress. Just surviving in the heat. Trying everyday to figure out how to keep the condo cool enough. So far it seems OK(?), been able to deal with it. But still trying to find the right combo. Ran a few errands this week, a BIG shopping day! Still grillin' every night, and lovin' it!! Not much else going on.  CHOW MOI!!
