HI ALL!! it's late September and I really should be back at ....

Plenty of going and driving. Had a chance to have lunch with my youngest on Monday while Mom was in for some testing, then up North for lunch with both daughters and son-in-law. Then out to the attorneys and several other errands this week as well. Been great weather, but it's suppose to turn to more 'normal' fall rainy weather. That's just fine. Does feel good to get some stuff finished this week. Should be starting on the remodeling soon!!!! Nothing going on with eBay. And this is the last week of fantasy baseball. Still waiting for my 'little present' to return, should be another week or so I hope. Did you recognize the lyrics in the headlines?? Come on, y'all GOTTA know that one!!!! Figured a nice way to ROCK OUT with the Stones in mama's car as well, so COOL!! Should have a relaxing weekend.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! busy week a coming STAND PROUD

    "    I'm going down fifty-third street, and they're spitting in my face, I'm learning the ropes, yeah I'm learning the trade, the east river truckers are churning with trash, I make so much money that I'm spending so fast    "    Should be able to get some things done this week. Got a couple of errands to run, and should get set up for the bathroom remodel. Got ALL the stuff ordered, now just waiting on when the contractor can get here. Nothing going on with eBay, and baseball fantasy is only got a week left. I don't think I will win any of my leagues this year (got a four run run going). But should be in 2nd in three of them and a good showing in seven of the eight. The one that I seem to struggle in is the private league I got invited to join about 4 years ago. BUT, I keep getting invited back!?!? Hope to see both daughters this week. Could be a busier than normal week. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! cross THAT off your to do list

Ran several errands yesterday, including FINALLY getting the check from Chase Mtg. AND deposited it in the BANK!!!! Also, got some money from the State of Washington Revenue Dept. for 'unclaimed property' SWEET!! AND, AND a settlement check for the class action LCD lawsuit, DOUBLE SWEET!!!! So got the contractor final bid and accepted it today and got that ball rolling. Ran some other errands yesterday, spent about 4 hours out and about. But, got a lot done. Was able to chat with both daughters last night and they are doing well. May have a chance to see them next week, just depends on their schedules. Re-list all my stuff on eBay this morning, made a couple of 'adjustments', but left all the other listings the same. Fantasy baseball is winding down, only 2 weeks left! The weather has been cooler, and VERY nice!! Got a couple of errands to run next week and got to get the rest of the bathroom remodel stuff ordered and ready to go. It's starting to get exciting now. OH, and expensive. I feel great relief in getting that refund check from Chase Mtg. What a VERY hard and long process it was. WAY harder than it needed to be.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! some rain and cool weather

Had a little rain and much cooler weather today. Could watch some very NASTY clouds pass by just to the north of us, looks like they had plenty of rain and wind in them. Ran a couple errands over the week end, and then again today. Hope to be able to stay home tomorrow, got a couple of things to do, STILL got to finish up with the CHASE MTG problem!! Have decided on what I'm going to do with the bathroom remodel. Nothing going on with eBay, will re-list in a couple of days. Started this week to double check on some stuff on my credit bureau that was suppose to be cleaned up during the condo purchase. Not much else going on, but seem to be staying busy. Felt under the weather yesterday, but felt MUCH better today. Should be able to get to some in guitar playing as well. Was able to get that 'little special thing' out in the mail, now just waiting for it to return. WHAT is it?? OH you'll see, it's PERFECT for me and VERY cool to boot!! Not much else going on, well there IS, but nothing to chat about at this point....  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! all this credit breach stuff is scary

OK OK 'NUF said!! Been a funny time on the Stones' board this week. Lots of jabbering and posturing going on. Some posters dropping some shot sat others without them even knowing, others I think are just posing.... Not anything going on with eBay, got one WEAK bid that I shut down on the spot, and have not heard back from the bidder since. Went to my new Doctor the other day, good visit. He trying to figure out what's going on with me and vice versa. Got two shots, flu and shingles, and then took blood for testing as well. Have a follow up visit in a couple of months. Nothing really finalized about my shoulder. BUMMER. But did chat and get some minor ideas to try and help the pain. Ran some errands today and quick trip to the store (for less than $90)!! The weather has cooled down which is nice. Need to wrap up a couple of things over the next few days. Want to get the bathroom remodel finalized - just waiting on the final bid; need to resolve the CHASE MTG thing - still waiting for that refund, but HEY it's only been FIVE months; waiting on the final paperwork from the attorney as well - and need to work on plans to get the cuckoo clock and the turntable fixed at some point as well. GRILL ON!!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! STONES ON TOUR

Out in Europe, one can only hope they make their way to the States. I would REALLY love to see them again. Been spending way TOO much time with eBay. They have updated their system and are making it more secure. So there were about 80 listings I had to go into and update removing some non-secure web links. So I think I got them all. Just took way TOO much time. But probably for the better. Couple of errands this week. Also hope to make a choice on the shower thing too. The weather has turned cooler,especially at night. And that is a good thing. I have had MORE than enough HOT this year!! Not much else going on. Winding down on the fantasy baseball, not doing so bad. No First Places, but a couple of Seconds. Had some fun this year again. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! college football Saturday

    "    I know where your place is, and it's not with him, I'm the one who is out here baby, out here just looking in, he ain't gonna like it at all, no no that's no good, I know the feeling just you wait there in the dark    "    Well it's the second weekend of college football for most. I do like the college game more than the pro game. I am so glad with the TV service we have now. It carries the Pac-12 network. So I should be able to see ALL the Husky games this year. Not much going on, was able to play a little guitar this week. The weather was still HOT, and several days were muggy, as well as way TOO much smoke from the wild fires. Got a little rain yesterday which helped clear things out. Nothing going on with eBay.  It looks like there were several tries to hack my Yahoo account. I kept getting notices from Microsoft about an attempt to log in from a different place. One of the attempts came from Columbia. But it seems to be OK for now. I went in and changed my password. Got another bid for the shower thing. I think now I need to decide which bid I like and how to pay for it. Will need to take a day next week and figure all that out. Got some ideas. Looks like the weather will be cooling off this week, great. Nothing like Florida or Texas thank GOD.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! great Labor Day

    "    I got a rainbow round my shoulder, looks like silver shines like Klondike gold, well I love you honey, honey tell the world baby tell the world I do, ain't no woman in fourteen countries love me baby like the way I do    "    Well had a great Labor Day. Got out early and got some shopping done, found some GREAT Rib-Eye Steaks. Got back to the condo and got the steaks marinating. Daughters were by about 3:30 pm, got the balcony furniture rearranged and cleaned up. Had a few 'cool ones'. Fired up the grill, had a great dinner. Got to spend some time with all and had plenty of chat time. Very nice way to spend the day. This is the EXACT reason I moved up here. Moments like yesterday that I really enjoy. Still WAY TOO hot out. Should have another two days of the above normal heat, then I think some rain comes in and things cool down for a couple of days. It is MUCH needed. Not much else going on, tried to stay slow and cool over the weekend. Need to decided what I'm going to do this week about that eBay 'thing'. I know what I want to do, but I need to think on it also. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me

    "    Saw you stretched out in a room ten-o-nine, a smile on your face and a tear in your eye, your Berber jewelry is jangling down the street, smile on your face for every high school girl that you meet, may the good lord flash a light on you, make every song you're singing your favorite tune    "    Well it's been a busy week, several errands, including a BIG trip to the grocery store. Ran mom on a couple of errands as well, and I even made a solo trip and took care of some stuff. Trying to get something set up with the daughters for this weekend. Not sure yet. Did have a 'little' issue on eBay. Has a guy buy a Finest set from me. I packaged it up and sent it to him. Three days AFTER he got the package he writes to tell me that some of the cards are damaged. The shipping box is fine, there are cards in it that are damaged. Well right off I smell a scam!! Finest cards are some of the thickest cards made, and I packaged them tight so they would NOT move around in shipping, AND I sent them in a box DESIGNED for baseball cards. He says we can"make a deal, before he reports it to eBay". Wants a $100 refunded. Tried to negotiate that, NO WAY!! $100, or he's reporting it. Well her's the issue. The cards were NOT damaged, and if I say, no let's got to resolution center, he will BEND the cards HIMSELF to prove his point. Then I lose the resolution and he send me back bent cards (cause HE bent them), and I have to refund FULL amount. Or I give in and refund the $100, and deal done. He gets his 'discount' and I don't have to deal with damaged cards. He said there were about a 100 cards damaged. I looked up how much it would cost to replace them, about $200. So I am going to call eBay and report what happened, so they can at least put something on his account in the event he is doing this to ALL the big deals he buys. When he first made the offer to buy the cards it was VERY close to my asking price, so there was no dickering on the sale. NOW I know why -CAUSE HE WAS GOING TO BLACKMAIL ME AFTER THE SALE to get his price-!! So I have banned him from bidding on ANY of my items. That way I don't get burned again by him. He even left positive feedback. What a PIECE OF SHIT!!!! I'll make sure eBay is aware of this scam, and move on. This is what you run into at times in the baseball card world. Funny part he has been on eBay since 1999 too, so there is nothing to give you any kind of pause before the sale. So I need to make sure others are aware of this dirt bag. CHOW MOI!!
