HEY ALL!! and here comes the frost

    "    I hope you find it funny, that I got no money, but if you stick with me, you're gonna get some love for free, this time it's not for fun, that you're the only one, why should I say to you    "    Well tried out the new shower, MARVELOUS!!!! It is soooo much safer feeling, nice to have the grab bars, but nicer to have a flat big surface to stand on. I'm REALLY liking it. I think the money was worth it. Mom can get in and out without any issues, and it just feels safer to be in. Hard to put a money figure on that!! Very close to finishing up. Only need to install the new exhaust fans, and we are DONE!! Have not put anything back on eBay yet. Thought I'd wait for a short time, plus I want to get some new items listed as well. Just have NOT had the time or energy with the remodeling going on. Now is the time to get things done. Woke up this morning to a little frost on the ground. Guess we're getting to that time of year. Not much else going on. Don't expect any trick or treaters to come by this year. It is just too hard to get into our building, and there is really nothing around here. Maybe several kids in the building that come by. We are ready for them.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! who needs a Roman shower??

    "    If was a filthy block of flats, trash was on the floor, a stink was in my nose, hinges off the doors, she took me in her room, all was spic and span, fixed me up a drink, turned down all the lamps, and the rain fell down on the cold hard ground    "    Well we have finally gotten to the end of the remodel work. New toilets are in, new walk in shower pan, new tile job on the bottom of the shower stall, new rain shower system. The only thing left is the three exhaust fans. Had to order replacement motors and fans, all should be in next week. I also ordered a new longer shower curtain, that has some POP of COLOR to it. It only took them a week longer than projected. Which OK, but I still think that should be worth some discount. We'll see when I talk to the boss man. Have not gotten new items up on eBay yet. Seems most of my days are taken up with the remodel, or running other errands to get something else resolved. So I should be able to get some stuff posted over the weekend. Not much else going on, trying to make plans for Thanksgiving. Looks like the daughters and son-in-laws parents will be down sometime that weekend. Hope to do brisket. Will be nice to sleep in tomorrow. Have been getting up early for the contractor.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! the sun returns for a short stint

    "    The moon is up the sun is down, you can't have it both ways round, ooh baby won't you listen to me, we are worlds apart you see, where you are now crying out loud, where did you go, when I needed you, the sun sinks behind the clouds, and hides his tears without a sound    "    Well, STILL getting stuff done on the remodel. Got the tile set yesterday, now needs grouting and then final touches. I'm thinking maybe two more days. That will put it a week behind original schedule. At this point I just want it DONE!! I would LOVE to have my bathroom back! Nothing going on with eBay, all my listing expired two days ago, with no further sales. I will re-list in a couple of days and probably add several new items. Had a GREAT time Sunday with the daughters and their boys. They all came down for dinner and some visiting time. Was able to get the snow tires pulled to the front of the store space. That way I can get them out at the first sign of bad weather and get them put on the Rouge. Still no guitar playing, I just don't 'feel' it. Same thing has happened the last two years, then the 'feelin' returns and I'm good to go. I may try to find a new instructor in a month or so. Still am excited to have the guitar, just not playing it for now. The weather is suppose to turn nicer for the next several day, even expect some sun to pop out! Good times ahead. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! the wind the rain the contractor

    "    Now I ain't lookin' for no pretty face oh no, or for some hooker workin' roughish trade, and there ain't nothing like a perfect mate, and I ain't lookin' for no wedding cake, but I been talkin' 'bout it much too long, I think I better sing just one more song, I've got one heart and it hurts like hell, I'm simply dying for some thrills and spills    "    Well been an odd week. The weather has been wild, plenty of wind, rain and just flat nasty weather. The contractor started working on the remodeling this week. That has been nastier than the weather I think. Started on Tuesday, a little late and short a helper, the Wednesday even later still no helper and just flat slow, Thursday again just one guy who prepped the wall for tile, Friday VERY LATE one guy and he waterproofed the wall and hung the grab bars. The original schedule had the whole project done by Friday. It looks like Wednesday or Thursday next week now. The good point is there wasn't any bad surprises behind the tile that was removed, and things have gone well from that aspect so far. There is an issue with how much tile I have, it looks like I maybe three or four tiles short, and will have to find something. So far the search for extra tile has been futile. I am trying to stay positive and just keep moving this project along. I did manage to sell one item on eBay, not a lot but a sale none the less. Today is 15 yrs since daddy died, WOW.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! keep it on the down low, keep it quiet

    "    The headlines are screaming, they change everyday, as long as I ain't in them, I'm happy that way, I know that you won't lie to me, but you hold back the truth, please give me the low down, I can only get it from you    "    Well got lots going on this week, I hope. Should get some stuff done, but holding all that info close to vest at this point. Had a good weekend, went shopping and spent more money on groceries!! Like always, also went and got a new full tank of propane. So set now for  a couple of weeks of grilling!! Still making plans for the holidays. Hope to have the girls down for a grilling good time around Thanksgiving. Still making plans, it will probably NOT be on turkey day, but close enough! Not mush else happening. But, lots could be!!  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! Hello lucky Friday the Thirteenth

    "    Got a sweet black angel, got a pin up girl, got a sweet black angel, up upon my wall, well she ain't no singer and she ain't no star, but she sure talk good and she move so fast, but the gal in danger yeah de gal in chains    "    Well that's RIGHT!! I feel Friday the 13th has been a lucky day for me. The 'unlucky' or cursed day seems to happen the week following up to the 13th. So VERY much looking forward to a GREAT day! Been working on replacing the light bulbs around the penthouse this week. Got new bulbs for both bathroom fixtures and new bulbs for the track lighting over the dining room table and the kitchen. Much better lighting, cheaper to operate and lasts longer. Only got the ceiling lights in the hall way and the bathrooms, and then the two spots in both bedrooms. Nothing going on with eBay again this week. I got a few new items I'm going to add in, but just need to be patient and let the slow times pass by. Getting ready for the bathroom re-model work coming up. Some nervousness and lots of thoughts of what I might need to buy at the last minute. But feel I'm in good hands and have a competent contractor. The weather has really turned into the regular stuff the last several days. I think I may need to readjust the thermostats for the heating in the place. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! can you handle a scythe and a sickle

    "    You move it to the left, and you go for yourself, you move it to the right, yeah if it takes all night, now take it kinda slow, with a whole lot of soul, don't move it too fast, just make it last    "    Well has a nice weekend, just chilled and watched some playoff baseball. Nothing going on with eBay. I need to add a couple of more items just to keep maximum exposure. Got everything lined up for the contractor, I think. Couple of more things to do, then 100% ready. Trying, AGAIN, this on-line-date-thing. I just don't know?? Not really getting the results I would hope to see. Lots of 'check my profile' and then when you do, the profile has been removed. (????) NOT, what I wanted. Really nothing else going on. Replacing burnt out light bulbs with LED's and just general stuff like that. Which I guess is nice, it's a slower more controlled time. The weather has been good, cooler, but good.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! great coffee great view

    "    I got nasty habits, I take tea at three, yes and the meat I eat at dinner must be hung up for a week, my best friend he shoots water rats, and feeds them to his geese, don'cha think there's a place for you, in between the sheets    "    Well only one errand this week, THE GROCERY STORE!!!! WOW!! Lots of groceries, and money. But, maybe good now for another week, or two?!?! Have had some great views out the balcony window in the mornings this week. I have been mulling around about a future "in between the sheets" friend. Got an idea I guess? I'll proceed down the road, and see what happens. Things at eBay are WAY TOO quiet. Playoff time usually people are buying. AGAIN, patience is the key! Other stuff is cool, seems to be just going along. I am trying to find some non-dairy Halloween candy. I will buy something, but probably will not give it all away. So there will be some left over, AND you know I'll have to try it. Doesn't really seem to be anything that would work out there. Lots of non-dairy candy, but it doesn't come in small hand out packages. So the search goes on.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! doing this, doing that, doing it all

    "    Do you ever fear the night, could it be the war is lost, do you fear the final hour, do you kneel before the cross, are your clothes all wet, do you see the light    "    Well just too much horrible stuff going on in this world. The thing in Vegas is terrible, I just don't understand that kind of stuff. AND, what bothers me the most is it seems to be happening more and with increased severity. This is really a test of the human race. Not much going on this week. Very quiet on eBay. I would like to see a little 'fall spike', let's see if the playoffs bring anything. Got final schedule for the remodeling. Things are starting to come together nicely. Weather has been cooler and we actually had soup two days this week!! Will probably have to go to the store this week, may have to make a trip for propane as well. Other than that, expect a fairly stay at home week, post season baseball starts. On that note, I finished with two 2nd places, three 3rd places, two 5th places, and a 7th place. Did win some trophies for having the most 'top category' wins.  CHOW MOI!!
