Spent both days working on HOA stuff. Got in MORE than my fair share of walking around the complex. Both daughters and son-in-law came by yesterday to she G'ma and celebrate her birthday from earlier in the week. Had some GREAT pizza -no cheese for me-  actually tried some new non-dairy cheese on my pizza. It was very good. I'm gonna have to find the new brand. Nothing going on with eBay. It is VERY slow. I would think that would change in the next week or so with spring training games stating up. Need to play some more guitar this week as well. Did get in some playing time last week, need MORE!! I think there is an errand or two to run this week as well. I think I've come to the point where I need to ACTIVELY start chasing down my Nolan Ryan Foundation request. It's been over 5 months, I think I've been patient enough. I'll need to muddy up the water and see what floats to the top.  CHOW MOI!!

    "    Oh who's to blame that girl's just insane, well nothing I do don't seem to work, it only seems to make matters worse, oh please, you were still in school when you had that fool, who really messed your mind, and after that you turned your back on treating people kind    "    Well it was a busy week. Two trips, EARLY in the morning, for mom's doctor visits. A trip to the grocery store. Also spent plenty of time working on HOA things. Had to get up early for the two doctors visits. Now I've been waking up early the last two morning, even thought I don't have to. Funny Stuff. Also got to celebrate TWO important birthdays this week!!!! My youngest was able to make it down and have dinner with us to celebrate Mom's b-day. Lots of fun! Nothing going on with eBay. Started to investigate ESPN's Fantasy baseball leagues this morning. WHAT a mistake. I joined a league I didn't even know I joined. And trying to get help from their 'chat' thing is RIDICULOUS!! The agent I had was no where close being able to answer my questions or resolve my issues. I think he needs to go back to the minor leagues until he's ready. I guess ESPN has cut out the 'public' leagues. So now you have to join a private league or if you start a league you have to invite members to join. I think they have TOTALLY ruined a great feature they had going. But even that stupid stuff will not stop me from playing fantasy baseball. I'll find a way to join more teams!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! matterhorn, salted caramel, or decaf

    "    Yeah and I wish I been out in Stone Canyon when the lights on all the Christmas trees went out, but been burnin' my bell book and candle and the restoration plays have all gone round, Yes I'll wrap my coat around ya, baby sometimes I wanna keep you woman, baby sometimes I wanna wrap my coat around ya    "    Well it was a nice quiet weekend. Manged to stay around the condo and just chill. Woke up to a trace of snow this morning. It was in the grass and on a few roof tops, but nothing in the street. Yet, less than 50 miles from here, they got over a FOOT!! WOW! Several things going on later this up coming week. I got two birthdays to acknowledge!! The one that will be tough to get through is my mom's. She has NOT heard from my sister in the 8 months we been up here. Nothing on Mother's Day, nothing on Thanksgiving, Nothing on Christmas, and I'm SURE there will be nothing on mom's birthday. TOO BAD!! Mom has sent her several e-mails one on my sisters birthday, and has NEVER received a reply. I just think my sister needs to get down off her high horse and get a sense of reality. She needs to stop thinking she is holier than thou and at LEAST e-mail mom! But it ain't gonna happen. Too bad, my sister's loss!! The other birthday is my oldest daughters, and least I forget, my son-in-law has a birthday the same day as hers!! I hope to see both daughters next weekend, if they can make it. It should be cold for another several days, and dry too, so maybe no snow!?!?  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! the Zag's, going for Gold, stretch out time

    "    I don't care if your love grows cold, found love in someone else's home, don't like standin' in the snow, everything's turning to Gold, you used to know me long ago, was so lost and way down low, now the love juice starts to flow    "    Well it was a VERY busy week. Made four trips out for errands and mom's doctor visits. Also spent some time on the HOA house rules, and will spend time this weekend on them as well. The weather is turning colder, they say there's a chance of low land snow Sunday morning. We'll see!?!? Nothing happening at eBay, it si VERY slow, getting a few looks, but that's it. I am starting to feel that it's time to CRANK up the GUITAR (!!!!) and start playing again. Got all the bills paid and now broke again. Did make a little trip to the store for some groceries, and probably will go again later next week. Got two IMPORTANT  birthdays coming up this week. My MOTHER, and my oldest DAUGHTER!!!! Nothing really planned for either, but I'm sure a call is in order. We'll see.  CHOW MOI!!

    "    Saw you on the sidewalk sister, walking home alone, you got the blues from working, right down to your bones, wouldn't you please tell me sister, yeah it's all a trip    "    Well it's been a good week. Didn't have to go anywhere! And was able to chill and get ready for a busy week. Got several outings this week, and I think more next week. Was able to get items re-listed on eBay, but nothing is going on with them. The weather has turned COLD, but no snow! Done a couple of things for the HOA board, getting items handled! Not much else going on, need to get my truck out and about this week. It should be dry for several days, so maybe I can get the cover off and cruise one day.Been watching some of the Olympic Games. It doesn't matter WHAT show is on TV, they STILL find a way to screw it up!!  CHOW MOI!!

    "    Now if you wanna hear some boogie like I'm gonna play, it's just an old piano and a knockout bass, the drummer's man's a cat they call Charlie McCoy, you know remember that rubber-legged boy    "    Well if you haven't noticed I've moved my posting days to Tuesday and Saturday for awhile. WHY?? you ask? Well I'm not really sure, just a change of pace, and I'm NOT talkin' picante sauce...... So it's been a full week. Spent one day walking around the condo complex knocking on doors to get the owners to turn in their ballots for an amendment vote we are doing. Good success!! Got nine votes turned in, enough to make the amendment pass!! Then spent the next day out grocery shopping!! I think this new EBT amount is REALLY helping out. We spent just a little over $200 this time, now we didn't buy a lot of meat, but still $200!!! That is by far the lowest we have spent in a long time. Was able to get items relisted on eBay. And added a couple of more as well. One of the new items was the 1965 Rolling Stones Tour Program I have. It has autographs on the back page from three members of two of the bands that were on that tour with the Stones. Not looking for BIG money, but a decent amount should be gathered! Plus I added another complete set of baseball cards. Should have some errands to run next week too. Was able to get out and grill one night last week. SOOOO good, T-bone steak on the grill!! First time I've grilled since Thanksgiving! Hope to see more of those days.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! jack, four suited and raising to play the river

    "    I met a gin soaked bar room queen in Memphis, she tried to take me upstairs for a ride, she had to heave me right across her shoulder, 'cause I just can't seem to drink you off my mind, .. .. I laid a divorcee in New York City, I had to put up some kind of a fight, the lady then she covered me with roses, she blew my nose and then she blew my mind    "    Well it was a busy Monday. Took mom to a doctors visit in mid-morning, then home, then back out in early afternoon to the pharmacy, then another errand and finally home. I was able to get some packing supplies I needed for eBay items. Also spent some time chatting with the HOA president on some HOA board stuff. We got things pending while we try to get the house rules all straightened out. There are about 4 or 5 sets of house rules floating around the condo. We are trying to combine and update them into ONE set of house rules. We are VERY close, and need an attorney to final review them to make sure we are in compliance with everything. Got a couple of items I'd like to get posted on eBay. I also need to relist the items that expired on Saturday. Still rainy weather and waiting to hear from my youngest when we can get together and fix a couple of minor things on mom's car.  CHOW MOI!!

    "    Let me tell you 'bout a girl I know, I met her walking down an uptown street, she's so fine I wish she was mine, I get shook up every time we meet, talkin' 'bout you, nobody but you, I do mean you, just trying to get a message to you    "    Well it's been a busy week. Spent several hours working on HOA board stuff. Then trip to the grocery store. Had to get a few things, and something to munch on during the Super Bowl. Probably make a bigger trip in a week or so. Seems like I'm going to the store for lunch stuff, fruit and assorted items that I like to have fresh. Then every once in awhile you have to stock up on the staples. I think we have a good handle on the costs, but it still seem to be high. I think most of that is due to our diets. No dairy, very low or no carbs, and trying to get veggies and fruits onto the meals. But it seems to be working. Nothing going on with eBay. I got one sale that happened several days ago, and I'm still waiting for the money. I'll give them a couple of more days, and then I'll start the "non-paying bidder" processes. Hope to see the rain back off soon, might be time to get back out on the lanai and start grillin' some meats!! CHOW MOI!!
