HEY ALL!! time trial specialist or trade deadline deals

    "    Lip to lip. fingertip, skin to skin, ring to ring, tongue to tongue, thigh to thigh, save me yeah here come a lady, givin' me a criss cross mind, mama walkin' around in the rain    "    Well I've spent the majority or the last three days getting new stuff loaded up on eBay. Got an offer from eBay I just couldn't resist. So I've been loading stuff. Have decided to start selling off my two HOF player collections. My feelings are, if you're NOT buying and adding to the collection, then WHAT are you doing?? I just have NOT felt comfortable trying to buy items to add to my current collection. So that tells me it MUST be time to liquidate. So if you're not building the collection, then it's time to sell it and share it with other active collectors. So why keep it hidden away? I've always shared my 'great' finds with friends and family, and I'm not doing that anymore. SO let's sell off what I've got and let someone else share it with others. It will be a slow but steady adventure. I've also been searching around for a way to sell of my LARGE commons lot. May (?) have found a way to do that. I'll start that adventure soon as well. The weather STILL is just TOO hot, should be a couple of more VERY warn days, and then a slight break. The daughters are working on some kind of b'day deal for me, sounds like FUN!!  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! the heat is ON .. flame on

    "    Put on your red dress baby, cause we're going out tonight, you better wear some boxing gloves, in case a fool might wanna fight, put on your high heal sneakers, wear your wig hat on your head    "    Well staying busy, spent almost all day Saturday doing HOA stuff. Then STILL had to go grocery shopping. Spent PLENTY $$$$, just hope it last us through the rest of the month. They had a BIG sale on pork steak, so I got plenty!! Seems like we are going back to the store for fresh veggies, lunch and breakfast stuff. Got several things going this week, I think. But try and relax where I can. Been feeling OK, just a sore left leg, still. Sleeping at night seems to be a challenge, I don't think it's from the heat. It cools off good at night, just can't get comfortable. Nothing going on with eBay, still. But I will relist my items soon. I've been thinking about loading other stuff, my two player collection as well. My thought has been if you're NOT buying new stuff to add to your collection because of money, then you should sell your stuff off and let someone else enjoy the items. Still pondering that thought, I know I'll wait until one of them is elected to the HOF, then decide at that point.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! how's your root canal

    "    You can see the freeway dividing, it's a pity you can't take 'em both, one leads to the valley or down some blind alley, the other runs down to the coast, too many roads lead to nowhere, but how they twist and they turn, and a dead end and a dusty old strip mall, where your tires are all shredded and burned    "    Well it has been an out and about kind of week. Several errands, like one a day at least. The weather has been much cooler, and I like it!! They say the hot stuff is coming back, oh boy, so be ready. Got several things going on this weekend, which is fine. Things still slow on eBay, and with the All-Star Game break, things have been slow for fantasy baseball. But it's up early every morning to catch the Tour de France AND this week the British Open. TV viewing in the evening has been bad this week, I think because of no baseball, some of our favorite shows are starting up again, COOL!! Not much else going on, staying busy with some HOA stuff, and hoping the girls will be by soon. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! my All-Star is ready, how 'bout you?

    "    A minute I was up there standing by her side, the next I was down there well left out of the ride, and high and dry oh what a way to go, and anything I wished for I only had to ask her, I think she found out it was money I was after    "    Well the WAY TOO HOT weather continues. You know it's hot when at 8 PM at night it is STILL 80 degrees. You know it's hot when after letting the fan run all night it is still 71 degrees inside when you wake up in the morning. WOW!! OK, I'm managing to get through it, just seem to be sweating a lot!! Watching TV the past week has not been very good. Tonight at least the MLB All-Star game is on, but that probably won't hold my interest for very long, we'll see. Got the Tour going on, and the British Open starts Thursday. Looks like some shows we watch are starting to ramp up again as well. Things are still slow at eBay, my listing are ending in about a week, so maybe I get some hits from that. Been out and running some errands and doing HOA stuff the past four or five days. Seems to keep me busy and moving around, I guess that's good. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! HAPPY FRIDAY the 13th

    "    And listen I love gasoline, I drink it every day, but it's getting very pricey, and who is going to pay, it's liberty for all, 'cause democracy's our style, unless you are against us, then it's prison without trail    "    Well YES, I do think Friday the 13th is a HAPPY day. I've found in past years this day has been very, very good to me. It's been a busy week, several errands around town, too much HOA stuff, and TOO hot of weather. Yes it's been very hot. I just don't like it. But I'm working my way through the heat. I got fans going and now leave one of them on all night to help cool the condo down as much as I can for the next day. I am missing my kids, one is up in Canada looking after her seriously injured guy, the other is still roaming the European continent. The traveler should be home shortly, and just waiting to hear when the other can bring her guy home. So dealing with the heat and my kids all over the place, and what feels like extra HOA stuff. AND, eBay has gone silent again. I just don't recognize the selling patterns any more on eBay. I thought for years I at least had an idea about when certain stuff would be selling etc. But, NOT any more. So I just keep listing and answering odd questions. OK, more grillin' time!! CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! a stage win on rolling terrain

    "    If it's love that you're running from, there's no hiding place, just your problems no one else's problems, you'll just have to face, but if you just put your hand in mine, we're gonna leave all the trouble behind    "    Well have had a busy week so far, and more to come. Have been out of errands both days. Doctor office's, then MORE doctor office's, and of course SHOPPING!! WOW!! Still manage to spend plenty at the grocery store, but I feel like we have cut back some on our spending. It starting to show in the monthly totals, it just has to continue to come down. We keep looking for ways to cut the food bill, and yet still eat decent and healthy meals. The biggest challenge is to find good, healthy food, that I like that does NOT have dairy in it. Not much going on with eBay this week, hope to see the activity pick up by the end of the month. Got several HOA things on this week too. Seems like my days get full fast and on the days when things are quiet, so am I.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! double down the line one run scores

    "    I said the joint was a rocking, going round and round, yeah reeling and a rocking, what a crazy sound, and they never stopped rocking, 'til the moon went down, well it sounds so sweet, I had to take me a chance    "    Well another week of warming weather, hit 80 degrees twice, and probably another day of two this coming weekend. That's just too hot for me. But getting alone as best as possible. Finally got the last three shirts that the girls bought for me for Father's day. Very nice, well have to try them all out this week. Maybe one day per shirt so as not to dirty them right away. Nothing new with eBay the last several days. My TV is performing as expected, so I hope the problem has been solved. There was a new remote along with the new cable box. The new remote is smaller, and has smaller buttons on it. I don't like it, I'm going back to the old one. Still works and I'm using the old one in the bedroom as well. I think they tried to improve it, not in my mind! I think there are a couple of errands to run next week. Have to pick the hot days so we can be in the car's A/C.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! HAPPY HAPPY USA!!

    "    If you really want to rip up your mind, if you want to take the lid off your life, if you want to reach down in the sump, to last dregs off the camels back hump, and the wolves are howling right at your door, and the vultures want to tear off some more, your flesh is burning right off your bones, your children kick you out of your home    "    Well been a good weekend etc. Sold another item off of eBay!! COOL!! Ran some errands and a little grocery shopping, and my eldest and son-in-law left for their Europe trip. The youngest is gone for the holiday as well, somewhere on a mountain I know. So should be a relaxed (quiet) 4TH. Will do some grillin' and munchin'!! This eBay thing is kinda funny. There were no sales and very little 'looks' for about a month or so. Then BOOM I'm selling some stuff and getting a few more views. COOL!! I'll take it, everything that sells is one more item out the door. I've still got to figure out a way to sell the bulky stuff. I got plenty of boxes of left over cards from building sets. Most of the stuff are commons, with a few minor stars and unlisted stars in there. That's just NOT the stuff someone wants, UNLESS they are building sets. I just haven't found THAT one person yet. The weather is suppose to be warming up, too bad cause I've been enjoying the cooler stuff lately.  CHOW MOI!!
