HI ALL!! time to make a trade deal, or sell it now

    "    I heard the crunch of the gravel, yeah he got to be a hobo man, and I'm walkin down the road like a bulldog slip now, yeah I bet you a good time and a bulldog, and I bet you two sticks and a home and a dog    "    Well it's been a busy couple of days. Trying to keep track of my world wide traveling mountain bike trainer, the other daughter came by for a quick visit, then off to get things done before schools tarts. Been out running several errands, groceries, doctors, etc. Had the ceiling fan installed yesterday. Went VERY WELL!! Now I gotta find someone who can patch up the 5 holes the electrician left behind. I do got someone in mind. The fan works GREAT, it does make a very slight clicking noise at high speed, perhaps a touch out of balance. It did come with a balancing kit and instructions. So that will be a project to do. Not much going on with eBay, did make two sales last week, one paid one did not. So I'll start the process of filling a non-paying notice on them and get my fees back. Been dealing with a more than stubborn stiff, tight and sore back. Not sure what's caused it, but it has hung on for several days now. Nothing really seems to calm it. So I'll watch that and see how it progresses. The weather has been great, a little too much smoke, but the right temperature.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! 45 years ago this week

Do you know what it is???? It was a Number 1 hit for them.... And it has two GREAT 'officially released' videos.... Been a busy week. Sold two items on eBay, one of them the notorious binders. Guy bought two sets. Managed to accept his offer and get them boxed up and in the mail, AND STILL made a few bucks on them. It seems that postage cost was less this time?? The other items are STILL waiting to be paid for. I see the buyers feedback has several "no-paying bidder" comments in them. We'll see. He'll pay or I'll file non-payer on him. You get several of those and eBay will shut down your account. Couple of errands, and several people to the penthouse for bids on getting the ceiling fan installed. Looks like I might have found a place. Got more of mom's doctors coming up as she gets ready for carpal tunnel surgery. Sounds like fun times ahead. One daughter off to Italy for a week. OK. The other busy with her stuff. The weather has gotten cooler, and therefore better. Looks like we may have some rain coming in the nest week. Fine with me. Still grillin' away.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! big income, fixed income, no income

    "    Well I never kept a dollar past sunset, it always burned a hole in my pants, never made a school mama happy, never blew a second chance, always took candy from strangers, didn't want to get me no trade, never want to be like papa, working for the boss ev'ry night and day    "    Well it's getting to be that time of year. Look back on what's been going on, and what's ahead before the end of year. YES, there is still lots left in 2018 just a good point to adjust your yearly goals. Put out the call for estimates for installing a ductless system AND getting a ceiling fan installed. I will now spend the next several weeks fielding calls and in home estimates. I don't REALLY think I'll get a ductless system, but I want to know for sure. The ceiling fan WILL happen, and I may even get bids to install one in each of the bedrooms as well. Just have to play it by ear and see what develops. Fully realizing that there will be BIG money changes coming within the next year. Got several items sold on eBay, and got more items closing this week. SO maybe I can get more sold. The weather has been weird, way TOO much smoke from the wild fires in the surrounding areas. It is suppose to warm up this week again. Not much else happening. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! fans, fans, and need cooling

    "    When I first came to town people, I was walking down Hastings Street, I heard everyone talking about Henry's Swing Club, I dropped in there that night, one night I was laying down, well I heard my mamma and papa talking    "    Well it's been a better week for cooling. The weather has been better, NOT perfect, but better. Been chatting a bunch with the next door neighbor and getting some kind of cooling system. We keep going back to a ductless system. Have found one that is reasonable, but needs installation. He claims to be crafty enough to be able to install one. Both he and his wife have some trades' talent I guess. SO maybe he gets one first and I help him install it and see how he does, and then I get one and he helps me install mine?? We'll have to see, maybe we get a third neighbor to join as well. Something to ponder. I also, I guess, am going to keep the ceiling fan and will have to get that installed sometime this year. Not much going on with eBay, lots of lookers and I got some items ending in the next day or so. Hopefully there will be some sales. Will have to get out and about in the next several days, more errands to run. Fun times. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! traffic, donuts, on the ferry

    "    I stand accused of talking, but I feel we are falling, in the same old grove, the radio is playing, spitting out the same old news, it's time to get up get out, get into something new    "    Well it was a great weekend. Ended up doing dinner with the daughter, son-in-law and nephew on Sunday. Had a great time with them. Then took the nephew to the ferry on Monday morning. WOW, the traffic, I guess that's why I avoid going south towards Seattle and all that traffic. But got back and was able to get several more errands done, and then home. Spent a total of 6 hours in the car today, WOW!! Anyway just humming along, nothing big going on. Got several HOA things this week. Need to figure out a way to get my ceiling fan hung, without costing me too many $$$$. The weather has cooled, but lots of smoke in the air from the forest fires in the area. Trying to get the daughters on a schedule to get my storage bin organized some time this fall. Just need to find a weekend that they are both free, that will be a challenge.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! are you a fan of this fan or that

    "    I went down to the Chelsea drugstore to get your prescription filled, I was standing in line with Mr. Jimmy, a-man did he look pretty ill, we decided that we would have a soda, my favorite flavor cherry red, I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy    "    Well the heat is ON!! What can I say, for the first time this year I had problems sleeping at night on Wednesday night, because of the heat. I just can't seem to get it cooled down enough over night. So I decided I wanted to hang a fan with a light in the living room to help with the heat. Found a VERY nice brushed nickel 4 bladed fan, good price, about $150.00. Also got a referral to have the fan installed. The major problem, there is no light box in the ceiling, so you would have to put one in and then run the wires. Talked to the electrician that was referred to me. Several minutes on the phone, his bid was around $450 to $500 JUST to install!! WOW!! That's more than 3 times the price I paid for the fan to start with. So now I'm looking at a portable unit, but you have to get a sliding glass door insert for that to work, so $400 for the unit and another $75 or so for the insert, and then you're HOPING it all works. The more I get into this the more I'm leaning towards a ductless system, but that's going to be probably around six grand to get it 100% done. WOW!! The advantage to a ductless would be cool in the summer AND heat in the winter, better than the baseboard, and I'm sure a bump in resale when it comes to that. More research is needed. All the while eBay is showing some signs of activity, especially the Ryan stuff. Hope to have more sales, from BOTH accounts!!  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! garbage day and a hot one

    "    Yeah I'm all in my sleep, hear my doorbell ring, looking for my baby, lord seen a doggone thing, yeah I know my little old babe, she gonna jump and shout, that old train be late man, lord I come walking out    "    Well spent a very warm yesterday out and about. Several errands and what not, but at least got to spend some time in the cars A/C!! That was nice. Still trying to figure out what I want to do to help cool the place down. I'm trying to look at several options and then decide what might work and what I can afford. Got several things sold on eBay, and will list more in the next several days. I need to get that stuff going full bore! That will help with lots of things! Won another gift card on the radio contest, now I got to wait 30 days again. The lady that was there when I picked up my winnings says " OH, you're a regular now". How funny. Good Times. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! reflection day and Seafair races

    "    Open the door and let the light pour over, open the door don't you keep me out, it's as pure as silver, it's as pure as gold, it's a rushing river, let it run all over me    "    Well it was a GREAT birthday weekend. Had the daughters and other family around for a VERY nice grilling!! Very BIG country style pork ribs. Everyone got their fill. Great desserts and perfect conversations. I really enjoyed the time, my only wish was for more time, had they been another hour or so earlier. But I'll take it, Then the nest day plenty of well wishes from my friends. I was impressed with the "happy's" that I got off of facebook. Thank You to all of you. Even managed to make a couple of sales on eBay. The Ryan stuff is starting to sell, COOL!! I am happy to see that. Should be a quiet day today and then some errands tomorrow. I know for one thing I got to go pick up my radio winnings, AGAIN!!!! Hope to be able to spend the gift cards soon. The weather has been cooler the past several days, but is warming up to too hot again. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! hydro races drag races and a birthday

    "    Day after day I'm more confused, yet I look for the light through the pourin' rain, you know that's a game that I hate to lose, and I'm feeling the strain ain't it a shame, beginning to think that I'm wasting time, I don't understand the things that I do, the world outside looks so unkind, now I'm counting on you to carry me through    "    Well had a busy weekend and early week. Did sell something on eBay!! And it was one of those items that I thought would have sold YEARS ago. I was always surprised that it lasted this long. I can tell you the buyer got one HECK of a nice set!! Several errands, including a trip to the grocery store. WOW! Also managed to take a drive to Bellingham and visit one daughter and the other daughters guy. Plus the WEATHER Was again just TOO HOT!! I just con NOT handle the heat any more. I can tell when I'm not feeling good, and that has been the case the past several days. I think I've gotta at least some bids and see what a ductless system would cost me. I don't know how I can pay for it, but I gotta at least check into it. Maybe a busy week, trying to get  some other errands done, and get something halfway together for a little party! CHOW MOI!!
