HEY ALL!! stitches out, groceries in

It's simply amazing how 'things' come up around the condos, then how simple most of them are to solve. Still getting some static from the former president. At times I feel he wants 'back in', then other times he does all he can to separate himself from the going on's around the condo. I figured some of that would happen. So I'm just cruising along and taking care of things. Been getting some great feedback from several of the owners, which is good to hear. Almost got the budget handled. Just taking my time with it and making sure the numbers are as realistic as possible. Still not sure at this time if a dues increase will be needed. Took mom in to get the stitches removed yesterday. Still plenty of pain in the hand, but less now that the stitches are out. She is healing, just a slow process. Nothing going on with eBay, things have really slowed down. This will be the last weekend of fantasy baseball. Trying to make a final BIG push to gain some spots in the standings. Hope I get lucky this last weekend and can make a strong move up the standings. Couple other errands done this week as well.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! condo clean up, medical stuff, chill time

    "    Still you have those happy eyes, I will try and apologize, baby baby still the same old smile, I was so wrong, babe and you were right, still you have those happy eyes, yes I'm gonna try    "    Well it's been full days since I was placed as President of the HOA. Seems like there are things going on all the time. Have taken care of the technical stuff, like the bank etc. Had the elevator fail the other night. Was able to get the repair guy out and fix very quickly. Did some clean up around the property and most important in the HOA's storage cage. WOW, what a mess!! I made two doctor trips last week. Went in about my upper thigh pain, and got a flu shot. Then over for x-rays on both hips. WOW, was that painful!! I just con NOT lie flat on a hard surface. SO stuff rolls on. Nothing going on with eBay. Which is about right, baseball goes out of mind as football ramps up. Although as a buyer I use to love this time of year, no competition for the good stuff! Have been grilling some. Spend a lot of the day making sure mom is good. She is just having a LOT of pain this time around. Just can't seem to get out in front of it. Hope to get the stitches out this week. Maybe that will help. Have seen one of the daughters, but the other is just not around. She did weather the hurricane OK, and is back home. Hope to see her this week. More stuff going on.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! president, wrist, leg

    "    Now if you wanna hear some boogie like I'm gonna play, it's just an old piano and a knockout bass, the drummer's man's a cat they call Charlie McCoy, you know remember that rubber-legged boy, mama cookin' chicken fried and bacon grease    "    Well there has been way TOO much going on around the penthouse. Mom's surgery was a success, just dealing with the pain now, and trying to heal up. We had a turn over with the HOA board and president. Which I now am!! So have been busy getting several meeting done and keeping things on the rails. Plus several other errands that had to be ran. Sold several things with eBay as well. The presidential turnover was a surprise and then dealing with the fallout. Had one other board member who thought they wanted to leave, but decided to stay on for a while longer. Found a replacement quickly for the open board spot. So have had am owners meeting and now working on condo stuff, everyday. Did get a visit from the eldest daughter to check up on G'ma and how she was doing. Got the wall and ceiling painted. The ceiling I had matching paint for, the wall I had to go out and try to match it. Well not so much. The color I got is a little darker, even after over an hour at the store trying to have them match it with their machine. OH WELL!! Probably will prompt me to repaint the living room. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! hurricanes and mountain bikes

    "    Can you feel the magic hangin' in the air, can you feel the magic oh yeah, love is a mystery I can't demystify oh no, sometimes I wonder why we're here, but I don't care, when I hear the drummer, gets me in the groove, when I hear the guitar makes me wanna move    "    Well it's been a busy time around the condo. The HOA president has resigned and other changes on the board. Got a mid-year owners meeting coming up soon as well. Lots of flack from a small group of trouble makers, trying to hang on to the glory they once held. Nothing going on with eBay. Fantasy baseball is moving along, I'n in 1st place in one league and 2nd place in another. I am making some movement up the rankings in two other leagues, just not sure there is enough time to get to the top. My youngest is in the middle of the latest greatest hurricane coming in. SO I'll be watching weather reports from across the USA this weekend to see what's going on. Got the ceiling fan up and wall board patched up. Had a small issue with the paint. Found what I thought was the correct paint for the ceiling AND wall. but, NOOOO, only the ceiling. Did find what looks like the correct paint for the wall, dry as a desert!! SO had to go out and try to match it. Hope to get it put on the wall this weekend and see how close I come. The weather has brought in more rain, which is fine. I just turn on the ceiling fan and enjoy.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! football and the fan

    "    The news is out all over town, that you've been seen out runnin' around, I know that I should leave but then I just can't go, this heart of mine could never see, what everybody knows but me, just trusting in was my great sin    "    Well it's been a busy several days. Got a visit from the oldest daughter, and just can't seem to gt the younger one to come around. She has returned from her Italy trip, by all accounts that I read on the inter-web she had a GREAT time! Would be nice to hear that directly from her! Also been busy with a couple of HOA things, trying to get ready for an owners meeting soon. Also had several contractors in my place to get my ceiling fan installed. It looks great and works even better. Cost me a little more than I wanted, but it has turned about GREAT!! I think it will make a big difference in heating this coming winter. Still got to get both cars in for some routine maintenance, and the Rouge still needs to have the tire pressure sensors replaced. Have been running errands lately, getting mom ready for carpel tunnel surgery on the left wrist. I am expecting a speedy recovery, she bounced back from the right wrist several years ago, VERY quickly! Sold an item on eBay, but have NOT gotten paid yet. SO going through that procedure for 'non-paying bidder'. NOT what I like. Got several more items getting close as well. The weather has been great, maybe another warm-ish day or two yet coming, but a lot better than earlier in August. Still getting in plenty of grillin'!!  CHOW MOI!!
