HI ALL!! mid-term elections The World Series

    "    I only found out yesterday, I heard it on the news, what I heard really pissed me off, cause now I got those fucking blues, I got those awesome blues, babe I got those nothing blues, any minute any hour, I'm waiting on a call from you    "    Well the baseball season is over, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. I'm glad to see an American League team win for the second year in a row. One of these days I sure would like to see the M's get there. I still remember all the excitement around town when the Minnesota Twins went back in 1987. I had won a trip to the World Series and got to see two games. The town was just bananas over them. Been a good week, some errands and a grocery trip. My leg is still giving me plenty of pain. Waiting now for another referral to another specialist to see what can be done. Fun Times. Got things relisted at eBay this week as well. Next in line for MLB are the handing out of the yearly awards, then the HOF voting. I wish someone would come up with a 'button' that you could push to avoid all the political adds, AFTER you have sent in your ballot. My ballot was mailed out early last week. So nothing I see in ads will change my vote, It's already been CAST!! Now I just flip the channel until the ad is over. Seems like a waste for some of those ads. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! GDP stocks dropping profits gone

    "    Fracking deep for oil, but there's nothing in the sump, there's kids all picking at the garbage dump, I'm running out of water so I better prime the pump, I'm trying to stay sober but I end up drunk    "    Well several errands ran this week. I had my appointment with an orthopedic. Got some good insight and some follow up stuff for my aching upper leg. The doc thinks it more coming from the back than the hips. The hips however do show plenty of arthritis. So being referred to another level up to examine what's going on and try to find a solution. Looks like I still got a grocery trip to make and maybe one other outing this week. Nothing happening with eBay, got to relist all my items again. Did manage to sell some things last week, so maybe action is starting to come back around. Had a dinner with both daughters and will see one of them again soon I think. Have started the 'holiday' conversation. I think regardless of what goes down this holiday. I want to have prime rib for one of the meals. Haven't had prime rib in several years, feel like it's time to treat myself again. The weather has been turning towards the rainy side, which is fine with me. Condo has been quiet.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! cornbread and honey, cleaning up the storage

    "    I got a rainbow around my shoulder, looks like silver, shines like Klondike gold, well I love you honey, honey tell the world, baby tell the world I do    "    Well had a VERY busy Sunday. Both daughters came by, sans the boys, and helped me rearrange my storage cage. It really still had stuff just 'tossed' in there from moving day. Some arrangements, but not much. We pulled everything out, sorted through it. Even took some stuff to Goodwill. Then put things back in order and with some sort of organization. Now I got room to get in there and start sorting through my old paper files and what not. Of course G'ma was happy to have them around all day. Then topped it off with G'ma's soup and cornbread!! What a GREAT meal and day. Had a chance to look at the Rouge for replacing the fog lights and fix another light issue with my eldest's car. So YEAH, all in all very nice. Have a steady week in front of me. Several errands to run, and a few condo things. Action on eBay has quieted down for now. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! where is the economy rain's a comin'

    "    Take me to the station and put me on a train, I've got no expectations to pass through here again, once I was a rich man and now I am so poor, but never in my sweet short life have I felt like this before    "    Well finally got the balconies DONE!! They do look GREAT!! Had a VERY close face to face disagreement with one of the owners. He believes that the ENTIRE condo revolves around him. I had to tell him to get off his high horse and face reality. I think he learned that I am NOT going to be like all the other owners and cower down to him. With that resolved the worker was able to finish a second coat on all three balconies and finish up the entire job. Plus it came in under what we had first thought it might cost. I hope we can now back off on some of the repair and maintenance stuff for the winter and start to rebuild the reserve account. On the eBay front, WOW I made several sales this week!! Was even able to work a deal with a guy on a couple of cards out of a set I had up for sale. He offered to replace the two higher end cards he wanted along with some $$$$ for a middle tier of the same cards to keep my set in order. SWEET!! Those are the kind of deals I like to do. Both parties came away VERY happy. Seems like I was out on errands ALL week. My leg is still in lots of pain. Hope the doc can resolve something this coming week.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! balcony painting, football and doctors

    "    The best things in life are free, look I'll give 'em to the birds and bees, money don't buy everything that's true, what it don't buy I can't use, your love gives me such a thrill, but your love won't pay my bills    "    Well had a very nice weekend. Got to spend some time with my eldest and her hubby. Didn't have to worry about the contractors - they took Saturday off. I did have a VERY bad experience with my doctor's office. Saturday is 'drop - in' day. SO I showed up at 11:30 AM after dropping mom off for a hair cut. They took my info and gave me the usual paperwork and told me to have a seat and someone would be right with me. Well after 50 mins I got up and asked how much longer it would be. I was told my appointment was at 1 PM. WHAT???? None told me about an appointment, I was told to have a seat. Well they stop taking appointments at 11:15 AM because of lunch and I would have to wait, another 50 mins. NO WAY!!!! Cancel it, and out the door I went. How terrible!! I have had my thoughts about wanting to find another doctor, this just pushed me over the edge. Why didn't the doctors' nurse tell me that stuff when she called me the week before to make arrangements?? VERY POOR!! VERY!! I'll start looking for a new doc soon. I'm done with that stuff. CHOW MOI!!

They've been getting in full days and making great progress. I hope another day or so and should be don.e The decks are really looking great!! My leg on the other hand, NOT so much! Still lots of pain and weakness. Can't wait to get to the ortho and find out what options I have. Nothing with eBay for another week. Got a couple of "offers" that were not even close. Trying to make plans for a storage cage clean up day with my daughters. Wish me luck with that. Getting things together for the upcoming HOA budget, should be fun. Really my days are tied up with the contractors and miscellaneous stuff around the condo. Mix in a couple of errands for groceries and doctors, and that's it.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! cereal and D J Fluffernutter

    "    She busted in and she burglarized my soul, but now the bad news, she's out on parole, she wrote the opening the middle and the end, what a cast of characters of lovers and my friends, the plot was twisted there was only one result    "    Well another long couple of days. Still dealing with the comings and goings of the contractors. They are at a point now where ALL of their work depends on the weather. So it will be hit and miss. But I'm still up way TOO early waiting to see how early they show up that day. Good progress is being made, I should think another solid week should finish it. Then throw in the regular errands and grocery trips, etc. WOW!! I am all set for a couple of doctor visits on my leg. Hope to get some positive results. Been out already this week and plans for more trips coming up. Was able to finally get some guitar time in. WOW, it was a struggle at first to get the feel. But after a short time things started to fall into place. I just got to make sure I keep getting to it and get back to feeling comfortable again. The weather has been a wet which is fine for this time of year. It does cut down on the grilling chances however.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! the orthopedic and no deck work

    "    You burst in in a blaze of light, you unzippered the dark, one kiss took my breath away, one look lights up the stars, and it's one hit to the body, it comes straight from the heart, sure went straight to the mark    "    Well bee getting up WAY TOO early the past several days. Have had the contractor coming by to work on the decks. We got VERY lucky, no water damage to ANY structure! Got two of them tore down and reshaping them for easier water run off. Decided not to come by today, the rain! But I was still up early. Have not been getting a regular breakfast, and lunch has been various times. Along with all my meds. Think we got a couple of more days to go yet. Got an appointment with an orthopedic for my leg problem. Hopefully they will understand my other odd medical conditions. Been also busy trying to get other HOA stuff done. Had another auto breaking, third time in three months. Did run some errands in the meantime too. And I know next week will be some errands, got groceries and a trip or two for moms' physical therapy. And who knows what else. Nothing going on with eBay, and am really missing fantasy baseball.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! baseball post season rain rain rain

    "    Uh baby I got a message for you, you got me doing something I thought I'd never do, I'm all yours Jack, yeah you got me freakin' yeah I'm overheating just when things are sweet, you can't meet on the street, I'll make your play, yeah make my day    "    Well had a VERY quiet front on the condo stuff this weekend. Maybe people and things are settling down for the fall?? Got some stuff going on this week however, so I will be stirring up the pot. Got to spend a nice time with my youngest and her beau on Friday. It was very nice, and she made a GREAT dinner. I really enjoy time with both daughters, but it really calms G'ma down and makes her bearable again for awhile. Trying to make plans to get a few things ironed out this upcoming month. Hopefully we can make most of them happen. Nothing going on with eBay. Probably will be quiet now until 1st of December. Fantasy baseball is over. On the one site where I had 8 teams I had, 1 1st Place, 3 2nd Places, 3 3rd Places and an 8th Place. That 8th place is the league that I ALWAYS struggle in. I was in 1st place for 2 days this year, first time EVER!! The other site I had two teams, a 5th, and a 8th finishes. It was VERY different than what I was used to and I will not be going back next year. I just didn't like the format. So now I will play along with my ONLY fantasy football team, I did it to keep the guy who runs the league where I finished 8th happy and hopes he invites me back for baseball next year. Not much scheduled this week, as of now, however subject to change. I'm sure there will be some errands to run. CHOW MOI!!
