HEY ALL!! .. HAPPY THANKSGIVING

It's been a weird week, started out with someone trying to buy $1500.00 worth of HerbalLife Products on one of my credit cards in California at 01:30 AM one day, and ended with me going to the hospital with a gastro problem. ALL ended well, the credit card was denied and then changed out and I 'locked' all me other ones, and the gastro problem went away after I threw up in the hospital. The doctors decided it was some kind a a 'bug' and I should be back to normal in a day or so. AND, I AM!! Had a GREAT Thanksgiving with the daughters and their boys. Had Taco night, plenty to eat, drink and a very 'TASTY' spiked dessert afterwards!! Hope you and your shave a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!! ENJOY!!   CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! progress slow and steady??

    "    Everybody's dreaming, everybody's scheming, until the rain fall down, she cooked me up some eggs, then she made some tea, I turned on her TV, it was all the usual crap, all the usual sleaze, for ten thousand quid some bimbo spilled all the beans, yeah    "    Well work continues on the roof. It looks like they are making progress. We have gotten a break in the weather and might have some sunny days ahead. We will need plenty if this roof is to get completely finished by the end of the year. I think our chances are slim, but everyday helps out a lot!! Several other things going on around the condo too. I've got one particular owner who seems to be promoting his and ONLY his agenda. There is lots of talk about the windows in each unit and the common area ones. The board has come up with an idea, that will pass the cost onto the individual owners IF/WHEN they decide to replace their windows. The way it is now, the association covers the cost. We have worked through a lot of issues and so far everything keeps pointing towards a good move for the group. Still several more things to clear up, but I'm liking it so far. Got plans together for Thanksgiving, should be a GREAT time!! Several errands and what not to run this week and next, seems like busy times. But enjoying it, the hip is cooperating.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! adjustment time ahead

    "    Go ahead and light up the town, and baby do everything your heart desires, remember I'll always be around, and I know, like I told you so many times before, you're gonna come back baby, 'cause I know, you're gonna come back knocking right on my door    "    When I first started this blog I had just gone through some sudden changes. I was trying to figure out how to deal with not working 50+ hours every week, not having to always answer to the "man", not being required to act or conduct myself, I was searching for something that needed to fill in for all those hours, and of course dealing with a medical 'thing' that was sudden and very, very different to anything I had experienced. The fact that it took so long to figure out what it was I had, and then sooo long to get the monetary relief I needed. And then the fact I had to sell off my life long love of baseball card collecting efforts. And one avenue that I stumbled upon, and got encouragement to investigate from my daughters, was a blog. At first it was EVERY day, I had something to say and wanted EVERYONE to hear it, then it was every two days, then twice a week, then once a week, then when ever. I still have lots to say and feel I still have lots to teach people that I revolve with. I just have not had the 'urge' to post more than several times a month. SO from today forward, I will continue to post, just when ever the urge or need hits me. It will be very sporadic without any rhyme or reason, but I'll be posting. To all of those that I lost when the change was made away from Google+. I'm sorry, although you never made comments, I could see you were reading, and that's all I ever wanted. To those who have continued to read after the shift, thank you!! I must say it was never about the size of the audience, it was a way to get my thoughts and feelings and knowledge out there and to write it and listen to what I was saying for myself.  CHOW MOI!!!!

HI ALL!! this time of year

    "    I don't want you to be high, I don't want you to be down, don't want to tell you no lie, just want you to be around, please come right up to my ears, you will be able to hear what I say    "     Well just working my way through Condo stuff. Making good progress on things. The  weather has been cooler and got our first power bill with the new space heaters. I think we are doing well. Went up $18 over last month, but that includes a rate hike that was $4 of that increase. This billing cycle was 1 day longer and three degrees per day cooler than last year. Mom seems to be staying warm so we'll see how this works through the winter months. Still managing to sell a baseball card or two every week. Have not listed anything new for about a week or so. Making GREAT headway on getting all my extra cards listed and organized and condensed into fewer boxes. Had the truck our and about this week, it was hard to start, it's getting to be that time to take out the battery and put the car cover on it for the winter. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! time change?? done with it

    "    Star crossed pleasure the stream flows on by, as we're sated in leisure we watch it fly, drink in your summer, gather your corn, the dreams of the night time will vanish by dawn    "    Well another 'time change' thing has happened. I just can't grasp the reason for the changing. It really doesn't seem to make much difference to me. It does take me a week or so to get in the 'flow' of the new times. After that I really don't see or feel a difference. I think if we left the clock alone and stopped changing it around, that we would all just adapt to it and wouldn't see of feel any difference as well. Just my thoughts. It does provide a good reminder to check batteries and what not. Well the colder weather continues, been getting into the mid 30's at night. And not getting above low 50's during the days. Plenty of sunlight however. The rain has been holding off, just hope that continues when the roof project starts. Ran some errands this week and got my  semi-annual haircut. Got some stuff to finish up this week. Need to get a budget set up for the condo's and some other 'housekeeping' things. Did manage to get out and grill a pork steak yesterday, DELICIOUS!! CHOW MOI!!
