HI ALL!! Happy Thanksgiving - USA!!

     "    We decided that we would have a soda, my favorite flavor, cherry red, I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy, yeah and he said one word to me    "    Well the start of the BIG holiday season. It ABSLOTLY has to have a different look than in years past. We are doing it different. I have told the daughters that we will NOT be gathering 'enmasse' for dinner and drinks. It's just not safe. We will find times to have personal visits, just not in groups. And they both agreed 100% with that. We'll do a video chat sometime today and that will be good. Have a nice simple dibber planed. Cornish game hens, mashed potatoes, and corn. It all fits in the no lactose diet and we like it. We had planed to have cherry pie with ice cream (non-dairy, or course!). But found out the cherry pie has non-fat dried milk in it. Which has a higher lactose count than condensed or skim milk. I think the non-fat dried milk is used as a thickening agent for the cherry filling. So the cherry pie went into the freezer, and will be given to one of the daughters at a latter date. Card sales have slowed to about one or two a week. Which is normal for the winter. The new electric fireplace is absolutely VERY COOL!! Does a great job of heating the place, we'll see what the electric bill is in about two weeks. Starting to do some work on the upcoming year for the H.O.A. which is keeping me busy. The weather has been good, some rain, some cold, some sun. The hip is just flat painful, still going through the pre-op stuff. I just hope that voluntary surgeries are not shut down because of the out of control covid right now. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! as cool as the other side of the pillow

     "    She knows who to smile to today, she has just been brought up that way, she knows all the right games to play, and she knows just what to say, she's well respected, cool, calm, collected    "    Well what a challenging times we are going through. The pandemic, both pre and post election 'stuff', the struggles with work and school etc. I have had several challenges myself this year. As noted in an earlier thread, I had some 'wolves' at the door. Well I am HAPPY to report that I have slayed them there BAD wolves and am back to smoother sailing. I have ALWAYS kept records of important things in my life. In this case it paid off magnificently. I was able to deliver proof and the wolves went running away with it's tail between it's legs!!!! It is the third time, I believe that I have altered the decision of this company over my lifetime. FUNNY!! Not selling many baseball cards, a few here and there, but things have slowed. Got an electric fireplace and had it inserted into the existing firebox of our fireplace. It generates heat and has several different lights and flames to look cool too. We have shut off the baseboards and now have space heaters and the electric fireplace to supply the heating this winter. So far it works VERY well!! Very happy with it!! Still going through pre-op stuff for my hip. It will be sometime in 2021 before surgery is done. I'm just getting by day by day with the discomfort and pain. Getting some help from my daughters on some things, while keeping the covid restrictions in place. There will be NO gathering this year for T-giving, just NOT going to risk it!! Can't see that it's worth it. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! cold weather new heater

     "    Well done my friend, you've done it again, you've gone and broken another heart, yeah you've torn it apart, you've done it before, hope to do it some more, you've got it down to a fine art    "    Well the weather has turned much cooler. Got an electric fireplace to insert into the fireplace box we have. After the first week it seems to be working great. Got some cool graphics on it, and heats up the living room well. Hope to also save some money on the electric bill this winter. Had to rearrange the furniture to get everything in place, but I like the new layout. Still selling some stuff off of the inter-web. It has slowed a little. Got most everything done at the condo building that we wanted this year. Finally got the front three balconies finished. I know tow of the three owners are happy. The third one is NEVER happy. The Board loves the finished product. My brother is in the hospital for some treatment, they think pneumonia and are testing for other things. He is covid NEGATIVE!! Still just trying to stay in and do the correct covid thing. Still going through all the pre-op stuff for my hip surgery. I hope it's soon. CHOW MOI!!
