" Don't know if it's day or night, you've got me blowing, blowing my mind, is it tomorrow or just the end of time " Well as the headline suggest, my brother passed away very early Christmas Eve. Several complications, pneumonia, sepsis, and several strokes. Thankfully my dearest cousin was able to be there by his side. My immediate family gathered Christmas night and exchanged stories and memories. Now the legal stuff starts. I anticipate an 'event' from one of the family members. This member has caused 'events' at least three other times, so why should this be different? I have some how been put as the lead person, I'm sure because mom could not do it. It maybe a long process, but he deserves every bit of my knowledge and energy to get this handled correctly. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! you don't care what I know, until you know I care
" Well it's been a long time since I've seen you, you're looking good, can't begin to tell how much I've missed you, I wish I could, but I like what you're wearing for me " Well the parade of pre-op visits continues, I think there could be 4 or more visits before I'm done with that. It becomes defeating at times, but I certainly understand. Let's know ALL the facts we can before the surgery! I'll just go where they instruct me to. Hope to spend some time with the daughters before the holidays, really don't have any kind of plan to celebrate the times. BUT, the main fact still remains to keep everyone as safe as we can!! Got most the H.O.A. stuff wrapped up for the year. Working on stuff for next year. Trying to put a SAFE plan together for the annual owner's meeting. Fantasy football is winding down, which means BASEBALL is just around the corner!! Doing well in my Stones board football pool, currently 2nd place with a plan to get to 1st. Would really love to see a bump in baseball card sales soon. I miss packing up and mailing them out. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! almost done with this year
" Call me lazy bones, ain't got no time to waste away, lazy bones ain't go time to waste away, don't you think, don't you think, it's just about time to hide away, yeah, yeah " Well been an interesting month so far. Plenty of trips to various medical things for mom, and still waiting for my next pre-op appointment. Baseball cards sales have slowed, which is somewhat normal for this time of year. Sometimes we see a little Xmas rush, but not this year. I'm sure the pandemic and lack of people working is playing in on it. Congress MUST do something by end of year to help out all of those who are in that situation. In fact should have done something 3 months ago. Have seen both daughters at various times, not nearly enough. Got the Ranger covered and battery out for the winter. The new electric fireplace is doing nicely!! Electric bill was down $16 from same time last year! And mom is staying warm! Haven't made any plans for Xmas with the daughters yet. What ever it is, will be low keyed and under recommended guidelines. Just NOT worth the chance. Things are a little goofy around the condo. But going well. Several new owners in place and some regulars are just floating along. Loving the new furniture arrangement. Merry Christmas!! CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! December's Children?
" You can look for me, but I can't be found, you can search for me, I had to go underground, life was so beautiful, then we all got locked down " Well I had to go get covid tested. I don't think I got exposed, but I've been dealing with a sore throat and feeling a little sluggish. Both daughters suggest testing. I'm waiting for results, should be in a day or so. I think it was the 'ol post nasal drip and a little cold bug. I was taking cold meds at night and it seemed to improve. I have felt great the last several days. But, we'll see. Not selling many baseball cards, which really is typical for this time of year. Still lovin' the electric fireplace. Seems to be putting out good heat and looks great as well. The first power bill is due in shortly, that's the real test. Keeping busy with the end of year stuff with the H.O.A. and working on next years stuff. Really loving the new furniture arrangement. Got through the T-day with just a video call to the daughters. Hope to see them in the next week. No idea what plans will be for Xmas. I'm sure it depends on the pandemic situation. Still working on pre-op doc visits for the hip. Looks like some time next year for the surgery. CHOW MOI!!
