Had to go in yesterday and have the doc take a look at my dressings, they were 'oozing'. He was VERY pleased with his handy work. Said the oozing was from my skin reaction to the adhesive on the type of dressing they used. He said the incision was doing GREAT!! Chatted a bit more, put on a different dressing and sent me home. The whole process has bee good. Not as much pain as I was thinking, and a WHOLE lot LESS than the old hip. Now just got to continue to strengthen and gain flexibility in the repaired leg. The whole thing still has me a little dazed, but trying to do what I need everyday to improve and get better. My daughters have really stepped up and are doing a great job of caring for me and their Gma!! CHOW MOI!!!
