HEY ALL!! the deck needs repair

    "    When I come home baby and I've been working all night long, I put my daughter on my knee and she say, Daddy what's wrong?, I put my head on her shoulder, she whispers in my ear so sweet, You know what she says    "    Well things starting to settle down again. But not for long I feel. A little break in the weather. My poor deck is just not standing up to the weather. The finish on it has been a problem since they first built it and stained it. The day they first stained it, it rained! So all the stain bubbled up. They removed it and re-stained it, IN THE RAIN!! And yes it bubbled up too. So finally, six months later they put a different stain on it, this time NOT in the rain. Well that lasted about 3 years. We had it redone a couple of years ago. Power Washed, sanded and cleaned. Got stain from my local hardware store at their advice. Well it is peeling and coming up again. So my thought is to floor sand it right down to the wood. Then put some kind of sealant and the cover it with a product called Deck Coat. And hope that works. If not, then pull up the base boards and replace them with a synthetic board. It looks real bad right now. I got two dead trees in the back yard that need to be taken down before the winter sets in. I don't want them coming down on the house in the middle of January!! Trying to find someone who has experience in taking down trees, and will take the wood for the job of falling the trees. I have put the word out. In the meantime my BBQ keeps dropping parts from rusting and burning out. Fun Times. CHOW MOI!!
