Got a big three day holiday coming up, not that I got anything planned. Just might get busy with stuff later. Went to my new guitar instructor this week. Might be a good fit. He is more into music theory and learning that stuff, than just chords and riffs. I am not sure, we'll have to see on that. He is a lot closer and cheaper. He is over in the mall my buddy use to have a card shop in. Just a little room to practice in. Quaint set up. He seems to understand what I am doing and has already got me on a plan. Gave me some interesting and fun homework to do. Was impressed with the progress I've made and my ambition to practice and develop. Nothing going on with eBay. Been way TOO quiet!! I thought I would get a little bump just before the 4th, but not this year. Since I am back to lessons, my interest in the guitar has really picked up as well. I already gave my daughter a heads up that I would be sending all sorts of 'wish lists' her way. Managed to make it through the week with out having to go to the store. But, that is always short lived. Have been grilling all week, the weather has been not too hot. I am in love with my soda-stream machine. I am making five or six bottles a day!! Looks like the yard will need some attention in the very near future. Never fails. Have a safe 4th!!  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! on the tip 'tater chip

Did have to go grocery shopping yesterday. WOW!! But, now that's done and just a slow and easy week, I hope!! Nothing going on with eBay, and just humming along with the fantasy baseball stuff. Probably have to mow the yard soon. It's suppose to cool off this weekend, maybe then. Brother is still in the hospital, he is doing better. They had to go back in and re-examine the incision from his last surgery. There was some infection and they want to nip it right away. There's s chance he will be moving to a nursing care facility by the end of the week. Been grilling every night, and just strumming along. Not much really going on, which is fine. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! it's summertime here comes the HEAT

    "    Well there's a brand new place I found, people coming from miles around, they come from everywhere, if you drop in there you see everyone in town, it doesn't matter if you're black, it doesn't matter if you're white, take a dollar fifty a six pack of beer and we goin' dance all night    "    Well my brother is still in the hospital. He is making some progress. We are trying to get him some post-discharge help, and some help to get his life back on track and to help him start wearing his prosthetic. Not much luck in that category. The people we talk to say he has got to 'want to' do it on his own. Our contention is someone needs to push him to that point. Put up with his 'B.S.' etc and get him to want it. Got several sources, but want more firm contacts. Still a work in progress. Nothing going on with eBay. Been VERY quiet, even with a BIG sale going on. Have started to play my guitar more often, and on a more regular basis. Feel like I want to progress along. If I can sell a few items on eBay I can afford to take some more lessons. That is what I want to do. So I need to get back to where I was before I go in for more lessons. It is fun and I do miss it. Have been only able to grill a couple of days this week. But, summer is here and I see we are in for some HOT days ahead. SO fire up the grill!!  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! great father's day fun times by all

Both daughters made it down!! Got to do some minor yard clean up and some great time together. Nice big breakfast and plenty of chat time. Then one stayed till today so got to do a Daddy's Day dinner. Very fun and nice time. Always a great time spending with my daughters. My brother is still in the hospital and is making some improvements. Not really much else going on. Things have been quieter at eBay. Did sell one item late Friday.  I am sure I ate way too much this weekend. But, after all that's what happens when family shows up. So back to the regular things now. Onward and upward I guess is the saying. CHWO MOI!!

HEY ALL!! traffic, TRAFfic, TRAFFIC

Went into Seattle yesterday to visit my brother in the hospital. Way too much traffic, then went to the wrong hospital. There are two of them, so we parked at the wrong one, and took the shuttle to the correct one. Spent some time with my brother, found out what was going on and what they were doing for him. Mother lowered the boom. Told him she was tired of him making the wrong choices and was going to force him to get help and better his living conditions and get him into his prosthetic. He agreed that he needed help. SO good!!  Have sold an item on eBay as well, getting some good responses to my sale. Looks like both daughters will be down for father's day!! COOL!! Also went shopping Tuesday!! So i am in need of a quiet and relaxing day. Hopefully that's TODAY!! Not much else going on. May try to get a few outside items buttoned up this weekend. We'll see, depends on how hot it will be and how much energy I got to do things. I may just want to visit with the daughters.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! .. RIP R.H.

Well this will be a different and short post. We lost a very close cousin over the weekend. He died from injuries he received in a very bad car wreck several days before. The whole weekend was a big fog. Did get to spend some time with my sister and family at their place. Now the week ahead will be his services and trying to understand it all. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! no brains no headaches, big hat no cattle

     "     Don't you know you've got it in for me, I knew it right from the start, I'm still learning my lines baby, since you've rewritten my part, oh why have you got it in for me, things they are not what they seem, you're living in a nightmare baby, but I mistook it for a dream, yeah just a dream    "    Well got some stuff going on eBay this week. I have not heard back from the guy who was looking at buying all my 2001 Finest. I got in the regular cards to replace the refractors. And got the regular set listed, then the auto's, and the moments. I started to list the refractors individually. Sold one with in about 10 minutes, then sold 3 more later in the day, and then that guy asked if I had others, and YES I do, two more that he wants. So six cards sold in less than a day!! COOL, VERY COOL!! I got a bunch to relist today, and then I am going to run a sale till after Forth of July. My hip has been hurting me more the last couple of days. I am not sure what I did to cause it to flair up, just started on it's own. It is not really painful, but enough to feel it. We shall monitor and watch what happens. Still grilling every day. Not much else going on, watching the weeds and such grow way too much around my shed. CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! I DO know what I'm talking about

    "    Well I promo groups when they come to town, well they laugh at my toupee, well they sure put me down, yeah I'm sitting here thinking just how sharp I am, I'm a necessary talent behind every rock and roll band, yeah I'm sharp, I'm really really sharp, I sure do earn my pay, sittin' on the beach everyday    "    Well it has been an interesting day so far. I am helping mom through some 'technical' stuff. Something I am VERY familiar with. I get some 'know-it-all' assistant trying to tell me something, WHICH I KNOW IS WRONG. So I go along with the gig, then slam it right back at her. I know 9 out of 10 people you deal with get their information wrong. BUT, you gotta leave some understanding for the ONE person who gets it right!! AND TODAY, THAT"S ME!! It's a good thing I see people like that coming from a LONG way off. Anyway, situation handled, bump in the road solved, and on we go. WOW!! Was able to sell an item over the weekend on eBay. Did some grocery shopping as well. It was pushing 90 degrees both days this weekend, so I stayed inside and enjoyed my air conditioning. SOOO glad we got the heat pump and A/C when we bought the house!! Been feeling OK, my hip slaps me every so often, but that's about it. Got all my eBay items ending this week, so I will re-list and add to it. Then I will run a big sale till after 4th of July and see if I can't generate some sales!! Should get some good grilling time this week. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! sell this, sell that, sell it ALL

    "    You look a little dressed up you're acting way too smart, your face a little bit flushed for a walk in the park, and you're clutching your phone as you walk in the dark, and your smile's got a twist you're looking so hard core, if you've something to say don't be too direct, 'cause I feel a little fragile don't hit the nail on the head    "    Well still working on the big eBay deal. I THINK?? I have made my 'best' offer to him, and as I suspected, he has NOT responded. I think I called his bluff. Once I fulfilled his request, he had no way out, so he has chosen NOT to reply!! NO SURPRISE!! I did manage to sell another item. The guy has been making me offers, and I have been turning them down, telling him I have a minimum. He has probably bid on that one item about 12 times of so. And finally, he took my price. COOL!! Got the yard mowed yesterday, no real issues, things went good. Once again it looks great! Grilled up a New York Strip yesterday, SO GOOD!! New York Strip and a tossed salad. NICE!! Think I will chill today, looks like a quick trip to the store this weekend, sometime. Not much else happening.  CHOW MOI!!
