HI ALL!! THE aftermath of things

    "     Well I'm a lonesome schoolboy, and I just came into town, well I heard so much about London, I decided to check it out, well I wait in Leicester Square, with a come-hither look in my eye, yeah I'n leaning on Nelsons Column, but all I do is talk to lions    "    Well kind of a different Christmas. Felt like I had Christmas several days ago with my daughter and son-in-law. So the last several days have felt like the day after. Just relaxing and not really doing anything. A little guitar and some TV watching. Nothing going on with eBay, and social media seems quiet too. Feel low on energy to boot. So that's it, TV, guitar, some inter-web stuff. I suspect this up coming week will be the same. I do know I will be going to the grocery store soon. Seems like we are out of EVERYTHING!! Could be a BIG trip!! The weather has been OK, and waiting for the Husky game coming up. I am having more and more issues with my modem. It was so bad last night I couldn't watch Longmire with it. I think it has reached the point where it has pissed me off enough to buy a new one. I think!  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! Merry Christmas that's right MERRY CHRISTMAS

    "    Now who's that black girl in the bright blue hair, oh yeah, now don't you know that it's rude to stare, oh yeah, I'm not so green but I'm felling so fresh, I simply like to put her to the test, she's so alive and she's dressed to kill, now I ain't looking for no pretty face, oh no, or for some hooker working roughish trade    "    Well had a GREAT time with my eldest and her hubby. They came by yesterday afternoon. Had a VERY nice Prime Rib dinner, then over to my sister's place for presents and dessert. They hung around for a good while to day as well. Got a far amount of snow late this morning and into the afternoon. In fact it is still hanging around, with a little sputter here and there. VERY COOL!! So it feels like we had our Christmas already. AND it was MARVELOUS!! Got to play some guitar with my son-in-law too. Always have a good time with them, just never get to see them that much. Of course got the 'light touch' about moving to Bellingham. And I feel it's a good chance that I/we will. Just not quite the right time for now. I lived up there years ago and really liked it. Every time I visit up there it's enjoyable. It is on my 'to do list' at some point. It would be nice to get a condo or townhouse without any yard or extra maintenance to take care of at this point. Nothing going on with eBay, very quiet. So be it. Should have a very quiet weekend and just enjoy the peace.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! keep trucking along

    "    Yeah I was talking to the postman, he mentioned your name, seems like everyone knows about my good thing, Yeah I was talking to my neighbor, about the way you wear your hair, they say you must have a lot of children, because the milk man is always there    "    Well just keep moving along as the holidays draw closer. Had more snow yesterday, a bit of a surprise. And I was amazed at how long it hung around. This is always a weird time of year, as we grind down to the holidays and the end of the year. Lots of people hustling about. They feel like EVERYONE should be hustling about. BUT, guess what?? Not everyone does. I have been enjoying the slower times around the holidays since I have been off work. It is nice not to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle that goes on. It is hard to stay out of that however. All over the TV and the inter web are stories and examples of people hustling about. They try to drag you in, BUT resist that, enjoy the times and the people watching. Well eBay is slow again. I got a nice sale going on but nothing is happening. Probably will be slow now until about mid-February or so. Got the Christmas dinner all squared away. Going with prime rib roast this year. We have had GREAT luck with prime rib in the past, and have really enjoyed it. Looking forward to another GREAT meal!! Should be a nice simple quiet meal with some family members. Those are the BEST dinners!! CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! are you Blue and Lonesome

What?? Wa'da mean you don't know what IT is?? Yeah, you on the right, in the middle there by the window, what's your question? Well, thanks fro asking. Blue and Lonesome is the new album (that's a form of music kids) that the WORLDS GREATEST ROCK & ROLL BAND just released. YES!! The ROLLING STONES!! AND, it is a COVER album. Can you believe it? ALL COVERS!! They had some new music written and wanted to get some recording done. So they went into the studio and decided to warm up. So they played some old blues tunes to get everybody warmed up and all the equipment in tune. Next thing you know, after Eric Clapton came by, three days later they had recorded twelve old blues favorites. So they released it. AND IT IS AWESOME!! A very nice twist. A band that is playing stuff that got them into music almost 60 years ago. Well what else is going on?? Nothing with eBay, and did do some shopping this week. Seems like I have been out three or four times this week for several miscellaneous things. But doing well and I think have Christmas plans set. WELL, at least plans with ONE daughter, still got to make plans with the other one. That could be awhile.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! bet doughnuts for dollars

    "    she's my little rock 'n' roll, the heat's raiding the tracks is fading, joints rocking could be anytime at all, but the bitch keeps bitching, snitcher keeps snitching, dropping names and telephone numbers and all, the scars healing, but the dealers squealing, the pool's in but the patio ain't dry, well the sense is sensing, that the juice keeps pumping and I know why    "     Well had a nice stay at home weekend. Felt good just to hang at the house and not have to worry about going anywhere. Did have a couple of invites to a couple of parties, but passed on all. Still quiet at eBay, did do a small sale last week. Stuff ends today, and thinking about mixing it up a little and see if I can't get some action on my stuff. Think I am done with Christmas shopping, at least it feels like it. Got to order ink for the printer and more coffee. Had a couple of nights where I just didn't fall asleep. Came back out to the computer one night. Just not sure why that happens every so often. At least it's not more than about a night or two every three or four months. Working on figuring out what plans are for the holidays. Waiting to hear from my daughters to confirm plans. Not sure where Mom and I will spend Christmas day either.  CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! well it's beginning to look a lot like WINTER

    "    Oh your love is a sweet addiction, I can't clean you out of my veins, it's a life long addiction, that has damaged my brain, it took just one hit to the body, to tear my defenses apart, one hit to the body sure went straight to the mark, one hit to the body and it sure comes straight from the heart    "    Well woke up this morning to about 2 - 3 inches of snow. It started to snow last night, about 7 PM. It was forecasted to start about 3 PM. I found a new weather page on the internet that is very local and seems to be pretty accurate. Sold a couple of things on eBay this week. One was a pretty good sale, the other one was a small deal. BUT, they all count, and I like the action. Haven't been playing too much guitar this week. Not sure why, have ran some errands and what not, but still should be on the guitar more than what I am. Seems like the new computer is working fine, still getting moments where it will not connect to the web. Not sure still if it's the modem or the service provider. Have ran a few errands this week, seems like I have been on the go. Hope for a quiet weekend. Gonna try one of our free turkey roast this weekend. Should be able to get three full meals out of it. Just biding time to get to the holidays at this point.  CHOW MOI!!

HI ALL!! we got snow yes we do

    "    The way you left me, left me here to cry, now I love her, know she's my desire, came home this mo'nin, 'bout half past four, found that note lyin' on my floor, goin' away and leave you, you just don't know    " Well woke up to go to the bathroom about 04:15 AM this morning, looked out the window, NOTHING, dry and bare and cold. Back to bed. Got up about 06:45 AM, snow on the ground, and still snowing!! WOW!! But nothing really bad. A light dusting on the driveway, but very passable. And it was gone by 10:00 AM. I guess most of the week will be like that. Maybe some snow, maybe some not. Had a sale on eBay this morning, but it was reliant on a promotional sale I had going. Well we negotiated a price, and when he went to pay for it, the sale discount was not there. Found out if you negotiate a price it takes away the sale offer. SO had to cancel and start all over. Now I'm waiting for the buyer to buy - AGAIN. Talk about 'buyers remorse'. I hope he decides to buy again. Not much going on this weekend. Did make a trip to BOTH stores for some groceries. And then just chilled out. I think have finally gotten the house put back together from the carpet cleaning. With no help from my sister, as promised. Just humming along now until Christmas. Probably some errands to be ran later this week. But, not much else. CHOW MOI!!

HEY ALL!! family members can be the worse

    "    Will it be poison put in my glass, will it be slow or will it be fast, the bike of a snake the sting of a spider, a drink of belladonna on a Toussaint night, hiding in a corner in New York City, lookin' down a fourty-four in West Virginia, one night I was dancin' with a lady in black, wearin' black silk gloves and a black silk hat    "    Well we had our carpets cleaned on Monday afternoon. The guy went to my sister's place first and then to our place. I had my daughters move the big furniture out of the rooms before they went back home on Sunday night. They REAL big stuff stayed in place. There were a couple of recliners and the dinning room table that had to be 'shuffled' around. COOL! The carpet got done and I let things dry out. My sister called later in the day to see how things went. She at that time offered to send her hubby by on Tuesday or Wednesday after work to help move back the items that were too hard for us. Mainly the end tables and the n to just get things 'back in their place'. Well never saw him all week, AND never heard from my sister all week. So I took it upon myself to do a little moving each day. I had a feelin' that there would be NO help. So this morning I am down to the end tables and final arranging of furniture. I posted on Facebook the other day about 'slowly' getting the house back to normal. This morning she post, 'let her know if we want some help, maybe hubby and son can come over this weekend'. I respond, 'you promised hubby some time this week'. Her response was 'he had to work late'. I posted all this on facebook as my mom so I would not get her fierce language back. Well I have not and will not respond to her last post. My first thought was 'how about you pick up the F*&^(#@ phone and call us to let us know he is working late'. But that is just NOT her. She has a VERY bad habit of offering her hubby and son to help out, and then totally bailing on the promise.  I am just tired of it. I will drag the end table into place today and do some arranging the next couple of days as my back and legs will allow. I have managed to change out the plant bulb, bring my guitar stuff back out front, get the big rug down and the table on top of it, move all the dinning room chairs to where we want, put the small rug where we want. So thanks, but NO THANKS. I just don't get it. She has no regard for anyone else. She is SO quick to volunteer but then VERY rarely follows through. She seems to be getting worse as the years go by. AND, if I'm the one that asks it's even worse. But she still does this to our mom as well. This just struck me wrong today. Either follow up on your promises, OR STOP MAKING THEM!! So I got to go put my house back in order. WITHOUT HELP!!  CHOW MOI!!
