HI ALL!! holidays and family

    "    You crossed the sea of night, free from the spell of fright, your cloak it is a spirit shroud, you'll wake me in my sleeping hours. like a cloud    "    Well held our family Christmas thingy last night. Both daughters and their men, mom and nephew. Had a VERY great time, MORE than enough food, and exchange of presents. My youngest and i went and got my nephew at the ferry in the afternoon. Then helped mom get the place ready and cooked dinner and snacks. The rest showed up later and we had a GRAND time. Plenty of chatter and fun. I had the Christmas music playing gently in the back ground. It is different to look back at what Christmas presents use to be and what they were last night. All the adults bought one gender gift, then we drew numbers and did a sort of White Elephant thing. With the only rule being you could NOT choose your own gift that you bought. All turned out well!! The weather was cold yesterday, no moisture, just cold. The trip to the ferry and back was OK, not as much traffic as I thought there could be. A little over two and a half hours. Longer coming home than getting there. Not much else going on. The nephew will be in the area for several days. Doing some cousin catch up time. Mom and I have no other plans for Christmas. Will just relax and enjoy. I am waiting on one gift to show up, other than that nothing else coming in the mail. Things have been slower at eBay. Which I guess is about right. I hope stuff picks back up after the New Year. i would like to see another run of sales for about a month to clear some more stuff out.  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!  CHOW MOI!!
