HI ALL!! Well it is an odd sports time of the year for me. I am not really a big Pro Football fan. The Super Bowl, sure, the playoffs, OK, but the regular season, not really. Basketball is the same or even less. The only time I get fired up is during March Madness for the college game. And some of the local college games. Hockey, AHH  NO!! Baseball is my first love, and this is the off season. Now I do follow the awards, the free agents, the Hall of Fame voting, and the trades. Next week Major League Baseball hands out the awards for 2012. Should be interesting. The pace of a baseball game is what I enjoy. You don't know what will happen on that next pitch. And baseball does NOT have any clock, so the ending of the game is sudden, you never know when that last out will be made. Other sports you can "count down" the clock as the game ends. Besides what kind of game is it when you can "knell down" to end a game?  Yea I know there are some died in the wool fans of the other sports and I can appreciate that. It just has to be baseball to keep me happy. With the weather turning cold it makes me think even more about the holidays as they approach. For some reason I always think about drinking wine during the holidays, not that I really have. I usually need something STRONGER!! But that leads me to. " I can feel her tongue on mine, silky smooth like wine". OH YEA!! You all GOTTA know who that is!!  hint: worlds greatest rock and roll band ........  CHOW MOI
