HEY ALL!! My Hall of Fame rant ..OH YEA!!

    "    My spirit is winging, my soul is free, I'm doing my drinking, in good company, the music's screaming, my feet are flying, everybody's laughing, and nobody's crying, sneak suspicion, it drags me down, a nagging feeling, going round    "    Well the Baseball Writers Association of America {BBWAA}, has voted for the Baseball Hall of Fame. AND I am REALLY confused!! You know when the Seattle Mariners got Robinson Cano this off season. All the BBWAA guys were saying, " Hey, who's going to PROTECT him? " Protect meaning, someone with strong batting abilities that bats behind Cano so the opposing pitcher doesn't just walk him every time. Funny think back 20 years or so. Seattle had THE PREMIER slugger, Ken Griffey Jr. and NO ONE was saying, "Who's going to protect him?" . And you know why?? Because EDGAR MARTINEZ was hitting behind him!!! One of the most dangerous hitters, OF ALL TIME!! And the sabremetrics back it up! Also, if you rank ALL the Third Baseman in the Hall of Fame, Edgar would rank 11th!! The 11th best 3rd baseman of ALL TIME.!! Really, and his Hall voting DROPS 11% today!?!? I mean .. REALLY ..?? Time for the BBWAA guys [by the way there are woman in the BBWAA as well], to WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!! The Designated Hitter Award is NAMED after Edgar!! What more do you want?? OK, off my soap box, and man was it a HIGH soap box!! The nice thing is I got 6 to 8 items on eBay for the 3 players that were elected. Hope to see some sales! I am feeling BAD today, no not because of the Hall voting. I think it is because I got about 4 hours of sleep. Not much else going on. I went out and about on Monday and had major problems with my truck. I could not get it to start. Battery I think, did get it jump started and left it running the whole time I was out. I will go try and start it tomorrow and see what I get. I hope I don't have to buy a new battery. CHOW MOI!!
