HEY ALL!! .. release the hounds

Let me use my soap box to climb up on my high horse. I have NOT liked Chris Rose as a host of sports shows for a VERY long time. In fact I never liked him when he was with 'Best Damn Sports Show'. Well now he is co-host on an MLB network show called 'Intentional Talk'. I have NOT watched the show, I just refuse to, and I have no desire to ever watch the show. I just don't care for his take on things. Well as luck would have it, I was flipping through the channels Friday night, and landed on the show. For about 10 seconds, but that was 10 seconds too long. Rose is in the middle of speaking and I hear " Alex Rodrigues will be an ABOVE AVERAGE MLB hitter in 2015" WHAT!?!?!?!?! Alex (arod) will be NO where close to 'average'. Come on Rose, let's LOOK and READ the FACTS!! First of all he is pushing 40 yrs of age, major league ballplayers are on the down turn at 40, even Ichiro! Next, arod just spent a year of suspension because of his affiliate with a drug company that was involved in PED's!! Next, he has admitted to taking PED's in an interview he did several years ago, he stated that the Texas Rangers clubhouse was like a 'candy store' for PED's. Next he was on the 'positive' list of players that were tested back in 2003. It was suppose to be in confidence. But, several names have been leaked out. So let's review; he has been on PED's since when, 2001?? 2002??, he has NOT played in a year, and NOW you think he can be PED's free and perform ABOVE AVERAGE with out the help of PED's???? THAT boys and girls is why I DO NOT listen to Chris Rose. Time for Rose to MOVE ON!! Thank GOD, Derek Jeter has retired and does NOT have to put up with what is going to be a bad movie scene wrapped in a circus, resulting in a train wreck!! I think the term is FUBAR!! As far as life in the REAL world, got back on the Bountiful Basket deal again. Went yesterday and picked up the stuff we ordered. New people helping out, so good, and the produce was great as usual. They have moved the pick up time to 8:30 AM, Now I know for most of you, that is NOT early, but for me it is not early, but it is early to be up and dressed and out in the world. Just trying to be patience as I wait for fantasy baseball to start, and just to make things clear, I WILL NOT DRAFT AROD!!!! In fact I will be surprised if he even makes it onto the field this year. I think the Yankees will have to work out some kind of settlement with him. CHOW MOI!!
